  1. I think I got 50-40 right first time around, this time I can't see Fricke dropping points Going 48-42 to Witches, Lynn top 4 will score 36 between them and the tail might muster 6 Ipswich have a lot of firepower lower end, for me always difficult if you start off as the home team with a 3-3 followed by a 1-5 which i think we'll see alot of for Lynn
  2. Rushen wasn't too far off the pace for a rider of his age with his Limited experience, and Scott looked decent in most races too, it was encouraging maybe wait until the half way point to judge. Overall very cold, a few entertaining moments most of the crowd will go home happy with a win
  3. 1. Bewley 8.64 2. Batchelor 4.73 3. Kvech 6.91 4. Morris 5.84 5. Masters 7.28 6. Zischke 3.00 7. Edwards RS
  4. Looking forward to attending this one, a group of 9 of us coming, not regulars and a few who haven't been speedway for years. 50-40 Witches, Fricke to top score
  5. Sheffield Belle Vue Ipswich Leicester Lynn Northampton
  6. Exactly this if they all click on the same day, they may spring the odd surprise... Lidsey for me is in a similar bracket to Brennan, probably didn't expect to be a no.1 this season but hopefully pushes both riders on all capable of being inconsistent, if they all drop the ball same night they'll take a few hammerings but as said could surprise a few too, adds some interest...
  7. 1. Lidsey 2. Batchelor 3. Klindt 4. Zagar 5. Iversen 6. Thomsen 7. Harrison What does everyone feel about that?
  8. Not sure what anyone else expects other than to be competing in the bottom two, late to the tapes so to speak, all done last minute, the track isn't complete, no real home advantage once tapes do go up, Northampton is very much up against it before a green light goes on but, if they can offer entertainment, can get the name out there, and survive into 2027 who knows... I'll certainly try and make one night this season and take my old man, but really do hope it works out for them, hopefully win a few meetings if they do then congratulations to them as its literally backs to the walls stuff already
  9. so far 1. TBC 2. Troy Batchelor 3. 4. 5. 6. Kye Thomsen 7. Luke Harrison 11am for the rest of the reveal of the "top 4" what are we all expecting, is there a surprise big hitter in there or not? Probably going to be way off but Lidsey, Klindt, Iversen & Tungate to complete the top 4?
  10. To maybe attract a younger audience the thunderous "Northampton Nitros" could have worked or Northampton Thunder makes you wonder
  11. My view only... Belle Vue to top the league standing, outstanding top 2 in Kurtz & Bewley, jury is still out on Zischke and Cairns but Blodorn should kick-on much depends on what Kildemand and Cook do... I believe Sheffield will make the play-off, solid team with both Holders alongside Pickering. 3rd place I believe will go to Ipswich, they have a lot of good experienced riders, but a lot will depend on Musielek reproducing his old Sheffield form, capable of beating most at Foxhall and he will be good away, they have enough to win at home and pick up enough bonus points I have Leicester finishing 4th, Kemp needs to kick on again, Gilkes is a solid RS, Morris probably is the Key rider alongside Kemp to see if they finish higher... Plucked for Kings Lynn to finish bottom, Frick has a high average but think there are 2 better riders (in terms of ability) ahead of him and at least one number 5, Lynn for me are weak at 2, 6 & 7 on paper, decent 1,3,4 & 5 but will they get backed up often enough, can see narrow defeats at home and on the road....
  12. Witches will be 1. Brennan 2. Nicholls 3. King 4. Lawson 5. Musielek 6. Jeppesen 7. Edwards Overall not a disastrous side, should win a high percentage of home meetings, may struggle away against a couple but lets see
