  1. Ellis wasn't exactly impressive in his odd outing for Gorzow though was he?
  2. Because it's a ride in the top tier of British Speedway?
  3. Grajczonek & B Kurtz (not as a number 1) are worth a punt. Don't touch either Holder would be my advice. The optimist in me hopes for: Vaculik, Howarth, King, Grajczonek, B Kurtz, Nicol, Kemp. No idea what that adds up to. Too late.
  4. So wasn't me or did a silly exclusion for this years next big thing cost Glasgow the title? Hmmmmm?
  5. Congratulations Lions, deserved. Best team I saw visit Perry Barr by s long way.
  6. Similar rumours suggest full transfer to Wolves, doubling up with Eastbourne.
  7. Slim possibility Vaculik will give UK racing another punt with the same promotion who he agreed to ride for previously?
  8. I hope not, immensely frustrating unless he has stopped trying to jump the start every heat. Fairly certain from what people have posted that the septet will be Chris Harris, Jason Garrity, Tero Aarnio, James Shanes, Ashley Morris, Tobias Thomsen & Paco Castagna assuming the points limit is 42.5
  9. Not that it matters much but who are Hume's "parent" club?
  10. Bacon is 5.2ish average wise. I only saw Hume once. He was quick but erratic, I'd take that over Agertoft very slow but steady & Castagna's less slow but clamped to the inside unless forced off it.
  11. My short term predictions are better than my long term predictions. Both hold more merit than your Wolves/CVS/Adams blind faith optimism.
  12. Loan fees are probably nothing compared to airfares, obviously don't know if Castagna, Aarnio & Thomsen plan to base themselves in the UK in 2020.
  13. Aarnio's average is 6.85 so he fits with a 42.5 limit. I never saw Tobias Thomsen ride for Brummies so can't comment. Is he really more of a prospect than Danyon Hume who's average is 3.27. Hume is two years younger.
  14. Pedersen was at Arlington in 2003 & 2007 but not 2008. Crump called Kirkmanshulme Lane is home track during all 3 of his World Championship winning years, that was certainly not a large track.
  15. Harris 8.7 Garrity 7.23 Shanes 5.31 Morris 5.46 Castagna 4.93 9.37 is points limit is 41, 10.87 if points limit is 42.5.
  16. It will be interesting to see how many takers there are for him on his 2019 average
  17. When it was announced, that is what I thought it was. The whole Cook/Peterborough saga then followed which changed things. Still not sure how Belle Vue managed to finish below the Witches.
  18. Didn't say Jensen was rubbish at Perry Barr, he was decent. He is being lauded as a world beater this year. He's so much better than Lampart he's helped to win Swindon the title. He may do the same for Glasgow. Only seen Ayres ride twice. Once in person, got excluded for rolling at the start twice in one heat. British final on TV when I actually burst out laughing as he couldn't help but ride too wide & hit then fence, thinking Harris might overtake him when Harris had settled for second a lap earlier. A genius he doesn't strike me as. As surprised as you were when Thorsell performed awful in the British playoffs. Now wait... Didn't I having seen how badly he performed in the Swedish playoffs predict it?
  19. Agertoft would be a poor signing even at reserve. Better British riders on lower averages are surely available.
  20. Couldn't make it to Leicester last night sadly. Looks like the tie is well balanced before the second leg. Leicester favourites but the heat 15 5-1 for Glasgow gives them hope.
  21. No problem weather wise in Leicester today?
  22. Razza Jensen was pants at Owlerton. Ayres rode like an idiot guesting for Birmingham, name another rider who gets warned at the start for rolling then excluded for rolling again in the rerun. My 2019 riders. The whole Leszno team (Excepting Kurtz & Hampel) visiting Czestochowa. Humiliated Madsen, Lindgren & Zagar et al on their home shale. Wroclaw were not far behind on doing the same thing. Becker & Lebedevs at SoN semi, Belle Vue. Mixed it with the stars on show, real spoilers. Both have impressed on TV. Erik Riss at Perry Barr. In a class of his own. Charles Wright is a proper late bloomer. James Shanes, just for his gutsy performance against Eastbourne at Perry Barr. More passes on one night than I saw on the TV during 6 Premiership playoff matches. Ellis Perks gets a mention, was great for Leicester at Perry Barr. Awful as a Brummies guest previously. His heart if not his speed were enough to subdue any Ipswich silverware hopes.
  23. Is it? Huge chunk out of whatever the team building limit is. To similar in my opinion, neither can be relied upon to make a date when it matters. Great entertainers though.
