  1. Missed first couple of laps of heat 20, what on earth happened to Ljung? Guessing Lambert gets first pick in final now?
  2. Woryna ouch. Anders Thomsen looks quick. How many points does Peter Ljung have? Saw Ljung beat AJ & Lambert but must have missed his other heats,
  3. I missed the start of the interview, had swapped channels during the commercial break. He left a bike in Poland to use for the meeting, wasn't possible to get his bikes from Sweden to Poland over night. Caught a flight to Warsaw in the morning, but flight from Warsaw to Gdansk was cancelled.
  4. OK, thanks. That defeat of Batchelor should see Lambert through, even if he can't beat AJ in his final ride. I have to go out in 45 minutes so I might miss the final!
  5. Which link you watching? I can't get any of them working & what browser you using? Get stuck on an advert of a box on the first, the second won't load, the third says subscribed users only. Edit. Fourth one is working in but no full screen mode?
  6. I did say no Danes except NKI merritted a spot in the GP's this year. Pedersen creates more interest. Don't think Madsen has ever really had a chance to establish himself on the world stage, the others have.
  7. I turned over while Nicholls & Quirk were prattling.
  8. Just two? I'd rather see Madsen, Iversen & Jepson Jensen rather than Pedersen. Maybe even Kildemamd. But only Iversen's inclusion is mildly meritted this season.
  9. Decent GP, some good races. But for the final lap of semi final 2 I had the 4 finalists in the GP predictor. That said Zmarzlik certainly deserved to be in the final. Traffic cost Woffinden in thr final, but I still think he'll have the World title sewn up with a round or two to spare if he avoids injury.
  10. Watched first 5 heats on the replay. If heat 6 is rubbish I'll start watching the Brazil v Japan & Wimbledon highlights.
  11. Who has the worst #1. Its a midlands only competition... Except for Kurtz, eerrr and Kasprzak. Impressive debut for Wells. Glad to hear King still in picture for Lions.
  12. As far as the GP's go in terms of entertainment this year, Prague was OK from about heat 10, Torun was pretty good for all 23 heats. Only saw Horsens from heat 13 on wards, not great. As far as potential winners go Woffinden looks on a different planet to the others this year.
  13. I can only hope something can be arranged so Rye House can complete their fixtures in 2018 on an evening when their fan base will be present.
  14. I van see MFF's point. But the person to blame for Poole's 2018 failure is whoever thought Kurtz would hold his own at #1. And allowed the Holder saga to continue with fans left in the dark. I expected more fron Josh G & Sundstrom, also. Admittedly.
  15. I did not think the meeting, in terms of racing was any better or worse than most of what I enjoyed during the years I was a regular (2004-2009) at Monmore. Just 'Karlsson' corridor was less evident (hug the inside exiting turn 2) and there was no rider going deep & fast into turns 3&4 except for Charles Wright, who got it wrong. It wasn't great but Pieszczek made a clean pass on his first visit. In terms of entertainment it was far more interesting to watch than anything ever served up on TV from Blunsdon, Hoddesdon, Foxhall & Arena Essex. If you discount the SWC of 03/4 Wimbourne Rd, also.
  16. Both teams will probably consider valuable points dropped tonight. Could Kings Lynn not find a better guest than Clegg?
  17. I thought it was a decent meeting, the Lions deserved their point. Pieszczek didn't take long to get to grips with the tight turns. Hope Sarjeant is suitably emarrassed.
  18. Grajczonek has done himself no favours not riding in the championship. Maybe he'll be at reserve when Koryna makes it to the Pirates #1 spot.
  19. Hope he can rediscover his 2017 form following the move, Lublin may be challenged for top spot after all.
  20. I still think if a Pole deserves a permanent wild card pick, its him. Of the current crop of Poles the one who I think is least reliant upon gating is Piotr Pawlicki.
  21. Shows how cruel sport can be. When the first 6 Lions team was originally announced I was keen to go to a few fixtures, it being the now (sadly) second closest Top Tier track to me. And many had Leicester down as potential 2018 champions. The injuries to Vaculik and Bates have meant I have no intetest in visiting & the Lions chances of avoiding the Wooden Spoon look as likely as them sneaking into 4th.
