Grand Final 2nd leg Ipswich vs Leicester
Col replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not a bad watch, fair play for Leicester for keeping it interesting throughout the meeting despite losing at home. Think Lions can consider themselves a little unlucky in the early heats. Congratulations to the Witches on their first title since TRick, Gollob & Clouting! -

Jakub Miśkowiak returning to Częstochowa apparently - I assume in the U24 position. -

Good job Woryna, Kubera & Dudek qualified else it could have been Przedpełski. 😄 -

Doyle, Fricke, Woffinden. -
Loktaev & Huckenbeck didn't turn up! 🤨 I like watching Buczkowski but the Gorzow track was never going to suit him and Pawełczak couldn't get to grips with it, less of a phenomenon at a confined space (Paluch quite the opposite!) Fair play to Brennan & Wozniak who kept it interesting for Bydgoszcz. Bydgoszcz will surely be promoted next year. With rumours of Ekstraliga movers Gorzow will again be in a relegation battle with Czestochowa I'd think.

Zmarzlik usually struggles at Warsaw but Dudek & Kubera made the rostrum this year I think. Kurtz, Holder, Doyle & Fricke will start as favourites. If GB don't have Woffinden it could be a struggle to qualify for the final. Wasn't keen on Warsaw as a city when I went to.GP there, it lacks the charm of Wroclaw, Poznan, Krakow & Torun. -

MJJ definitely took Zmarzlik's front wheel. -

Bednar's bike is knackered. Final will be down to whether Holder can beat Dudek. Neither look that fast. Not convinced GB will finish above Sweden. -

Do the three Danes not get on? At this autograph session in the fan zone all the teams are sat together except the Danes. Madsen is with Latvia, Michelsen is with Aussies & MJJ is with Sweden. -

And what if someone better than Cairns & Rushden comes along in two years time? But couldn't get near Thomsen in his next ride & failed to score in his final ride. -

With the GB Luke's being dreadful and Thompson only managing to pick up second places, I'd absolutely had enough by heat 20 - I'm sure I saw more laps by Tractors than bikes. Germany deserved to win, Blodorn & Bednar were the two class riders on show. -

Thankfully Latvia are giving as a run for the wooden spoon.
