Swapped Rew for Brennan is strengthening in a way, Brennan is a better rider currently but Rew has more improvement potential.

I'm fairly adamant I've predicted Bewley, Lidsey, Rew, Brennan, Blodorn, Janowski & a fair few others will improve their starting averages. Lawson must be early-mid 30's, he ain't getting any better than a solid engine room rider. His average may increase as he won't be riding with a rider as good as Fricke for 3 of his programmed rides. Stars don't have a rider as good as Fricke in their septet

Rugby Union *cough cough*

Don't know what happened to Janowski in 2024, maybe losing his GP spot hit his confidence. I thought he was very unlucky in that regard having been on the podium the previous year. But the same has happened to Madsen this year. If Janowski can hit the ground running he hold his own in the Premiership as a #1, Tungate is reasonable backup. No one can expect Riss or Wright to be much more than be solid #2 & #4. Possibly match winning reserve? Another hear leader is required, hope Spires can pull a rabbit out of the hat. If not Janowski & Tungate are better heat leaders than any riders Kings Lynn have signed

Belle Vue, Ipswich & Sheffield will make the play offs Leicester have a better team than Kings Lynn as it stands... hoping Oxford & Brummies can be contenders. I really don't get the love for that Kings Lynn team. I've loved watching Bomber & NKI over the years but they're both in their 40's and are not reliable double points scorers these days. Cook is some way off a #1 as is Kvech. Lawson is a solid engine room rider but nothing more and will be starting his downward arc and Klindt will be injured out for the season by the end of May in all likelihood.

As expected from Belle Vue. Blodorn, Cook should improve their starting averages, as should Lidsey who needs to become more effective away from the NSS. Kurtz was exceptional in 2024, same again please, but with GP's & Ekstraliga I'm expecting a dip Still waiting for Bewley to have a few Nielsen seasons, when he averages 10:50+ and is almost unbeatable. Mulford can hold his own at RS hopefully. Never seen Zischke, Voulas must feel hard done to. Along with Tigers & Witches, the Aces complete the annual 3 horse title race as expected.

But Zagar spent several months at #1 with a higher average than Fricke & Kurtz. Aces were actually better at home when Zagar was at #1 than when either Aussie was in hat position. Hmmm. Having seen every heat of the SoN, Thorsell benefitted from the general poorness of the Danes & Poles, he got out the gate & made himself difficult to pass but Lindgren did all the hard yards for the Swedes. Pawlicki is probably a better rider than Zagar now, but his attitude wasn't right in 2024. On a 4.11 average I think Milik would be worth a punt to start the season at resreve. I'm expecting serious improvement this year from Rew, average wise, could push on to be second heat leader if he has a good season.
-
Hmmm.. Thorsell & Nilsson are surely on the downward ark & can't have ridden here for 5 years. I'd probably take Nilsson on 6.00 but 7.33 is expensive for Tthorsell.

Kildemand used to be great every track... then it all went wrong... I think it coincided with him signing for Poole!

Zagar is an absolute pleasure to watch at the NSS, I'd only rate Bewley higher around that circuit. If he can master Perry Barr similarly he will score heavily at home. Belle Vue were at their most prolific in the title winning 2022 season when Zagar was #1 rather than Kurtz or Fricke. Away from has always been patchy, would be a good #3/4. Can win races at Foxhall & Owlerton, but can also go missing.

No officially confirmed Aces signings for 2025. It is their Christmas Cracker a week on Friday (29th Nov), all 7 signings are likely to be announced at that event.
-
Rated Lions last year, don't this. Masters is not the force he was Becker & Douglas didn't progress last year as they should have. Fricke's level has been found just not quite world class.
-
4 horses, only count 3. Aces, Tigers & Witches. But question marks against all. Kurtz has GP's & Ekstaliga pressure to deal with for the first time.... Woffinden has neither for the first time in years, finances will be down. Doyle & Sayfutdinov are coming back from injury and are not getting any younger... Neither is Chris Holder. While Jack Holder seems to be the one the SGP promoters think is ready to challenge Zmarzlik. Focus could be shifting away from league racing.
-
Hellstrom-Bangs? Can't see it, he's riding Ehstraliga for the first time in 2025.
-
Makes sense for Stars to run on a different night to Witches.
-
Becker was pretty good at the NSS in the SoN semi, but he never produced that form for Leicester's visits.
-
US sponsorship or maybe US speedway fans watching streams? Maybe he attracts Wolverhampton supporters?
-
It's a fair point, Musielak is also younger than Lindgren. However, the league had more ex-GP standard riders in 2024 than 2023.
-
Janowski had a few solid years at Swindon, Kings Lynn & Poole.
-
Tungate, Wright & Killeen signed. Janowski likely?
-
Skornicki & Janowski. Ulamek?
-
Hope the move works out for both Musielak & Brummies. Musielak had been reliable for Wolves, Swindon & Sheffield before his move to Kings Lynn last year, where it seemed to go very wrong. I've seen him unbeaten at Owlerton more times than I care to remember, less effective at Leicester, but seemed to have got to grips with the NSS after struggling first few times I saw him there. With the number of GP & ex-GP riders returning to British League racing I'm not sure Musielak qualifies as a genuine #1 any more though. Two other solid heat leaders are required.

Whichever of the 1-6 are at 1 & 5 are going to struggle for their period in those positions. Whichever of the 1-6 are at 2 & 6 should thrive in those positions. The 4 & 5 should hold the own. Can the 2 & 6 get the team a big enough lead before heats 13 & 15, where this team will be pretty much conceding 8 points home & away (two 5-1's against). Teams built this way are less capable of taking advantage of tactical substitutes & are more susceptible to tactical substitutes.
-
Could have a good year if Klindt gets to 2nd in the averages when he gets injured and is out for the year in May. R/R for all.
-
Don't know why any PL team would consider Riss.. Pawlicki barely looked interested in racing for Brummies. Milik did, was ditched earlier & on a lower average.. worth a punt more than Pawlicki & Lampart in my opinion. If Musielak signs, Janowski has a fellow Pole in the pits.
