  1. Częstochowa score 31. As someone beat me to 33. I wonder if they'll even register a heat win other than the chap with wrong number.
  2. He has always said his favourite UK track was Kings Lynn if they prepared it right. I hope they get going against the Owlerton Tigers. Fricke had an exceptional season in 2025, new home track for 2026, you need to give him time. Kvech is a bit of an enigma, think Stars need to put Cook at #5, Kvech at #4.
  3. I don't know why they bothered doing that TS, Aces could have used Bewley as a TS with Kurtz the heat before. Zischke would have beaten Lawson & Nicholls. My only thought is that they thought Blödorn needed 4 laps to get dialled in. And isn't that why Belle Vue signed the 'Ninjas'. He saw it once in 2021 FFS. SoN when he was reserve and the other two Swedes got injured.
  4. The track was far too grippy in the first four heats, they graded & watered it again after the riders did there track walk. Plus Aces had gates 1&3 3 times in first four heats, gate two was offering nitro boost starts during that period. Bewley wasn't gating again but his battles with Brennan in heats 13 & 15 were sensational, best I have ever seen Tom ride. King was good for Witches. Edwards did well as Musielsk chipped in. Nicholls, Hellström Bängs and to a slightly lesser extent Lawson were dreadful. Cook was good value after his tapes exclusion, Kildemand can certainly generate some speed around the boards but it doesn't seem to get him anywhere! Good to watch though. Cairns had one good ride when he split the Witches in heat 8, was actually leading for half a lap but was riding to low and King was fast. More to come from Blödorn hopefully, first meeting back from injury. Zischke won heat 2 but that was about it.
  5. Brennan just announced as Wildcard for two GP's at the NSS on centre green at Belle Vue.

  7. I think Luke Bowen went to that van wearing BSN top so guess he's working for them tonight.
  8. The queue (or lack of) at La Bona Pasta would indicate a dreadful crowd. They have certainly hiked prices over the winter.
  9. Ipswich fans were saying that Zack Cook was much better at Foxhall than his brother who he replaced for the Aces at the time.

  11. In Poland? He's on a bit of a hiding to nothing in that awful Częstochowa team! He did OK is Leszno, haven't watch the Lublin meeting on a stream but it's against arguably the strongest 1-7 in the league and it would have been his home debut.
  12. BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Peter Kildemand, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Will Cairns. IPSWICH: Tom Brennan, Danny King, Richard Lawson, Scott Nicholls, Tobiasz Musielak, Philip Hellstrom-Bangs, Jason Edwards.
  13. I think Brennan will nick a point off one of them, but then he'll also drop a point to Cook. The wildcards in it all are Kildemand & Hellström Bängs. To hit 35 Witches need King to have a good night. Musielak won't trouble Bewley or Kurtz, should be good between him and the Aces engine room. Nicholls & Lawson might beat Cairns.
  14. Ryan Douglas take a bow, single handedly made Bydgoszcz v Poznan interesting.

  16. Managed to watch about 5 heats of Gorzow v Wroclaw. Dreadful. I assume Czestochowa humiliation in Lublin isn't worth watching?
  17. What WWE? No one expected Leicester to win at Owlerton on Thursday. Did you think it predetermined that Bewley would chase Douglas for 3.7 laps in heat 15 on Easter Monday before passing him. Bewley certainly looked overjoyed, Douglas looked gutted. Don't think that was our on.
  18. Have only seen results but Częstochowa are an embarrassment to the league. Wroclaw reserves will cost them the title. Kowalski! being meeting winner where Laguta, Kurtz & Bewley failed is surprising. Enterprising use of Pollestad will see Gorzów battle 5th spot with Leszno. Paluch injured?
  19. Kurtz & Blödorn are set to return but with Kurtz, Bewley, Cook, Blödorn, Brennan & Musielak all likely to be in action on the continent over the weekend and a fair compliment of Championship fixtures at the weekend we have to hope all come through unscathed. Assuming they do I would think Belle Vue will win quite comfortably (52-38) while Hellström Bängs showed a liking for the NSS at the SoN (as Sweden's last man riding) but it's been a few years (2021?). Nicholls & Lawson rarely score well at NSS, Musielak had improved on his last visit with Sheffield but don't remember him doing much for Brummies last season. Imagine it will be down to Brennan for Ipswich to take a point off the World #2 & #3. A little rain is forecast at the moment but should be fine.
  20. He was culpable of doing that an awful lot in the second tier with Birmingham, he'd only ever move to the quicker wide line if he was chasing someone. When in front he pretty much stuck to the inside, very frustrating. I was only going to say what szkocjasid posted. Kvech only an Ekstraliga rider because he filled the U24 berth.
