Kubera is an appallingly boring gating tart. Thomsen is better. This is true. But it was either him or Nicholls who hadn't done a thing for years (ever). As 2nd Brit with Harris. Had 2012 out GPs but won title in 2013... which he wouldn't have done but for Sayfutdinov injury. Landshut was far better 2nd night. Musielak still has Birmingham meetings in his rolling average. King will surely be Witches #1 when it's all 2026.

I'm not sure about that.... Bydgoszcz at it's finest may still be my favourite, it is such a shame that there is huge gap between the track & terracing on the bends. Toruń & Wroclaw are great tracks & have stadiums that compare. Despite being a bit feral I enjoy the racing at Grudziądz & Częstochowa. Landshut was good after 40 mins of doctoring earlier this year. If they ever host a Worldish event at Västervik again I'll go. I think I enjoyed the final 8 heats and GCQ & final more than Friday, but the first 4 heats tonight especially were a bit poor. Strange how one track can produce such different racing depending on how it is prepared. Which one would Bewley have preferred is an interesting question. Zmarzllk is a joy to watch, but he'll have more World Titles than anyone else one day surely, so I just don't want him to win. But I'll take him (and almost anyone) over Jack Holder. You have take your hat off to Zmarzlik, in the final he realised he getting near Kurtz on the outside, so switched back to the inside where MJJ was. Zmarzlik didn't plough into the back off MJJ as Woryna did with Madsen the previous night. He backed off safely, allowing Holder to pass him but found the speed to pass Holder within the next lap.

How has the rain been overnight in Manchester, it was bucketing down between Crewe & Stoke on the way home last night. Zmarzlik is a pleasure to watch, it would just be nice to see someone else with the World Title. Zmarzlik hasn't actually won a GP since NSS round 2 last year. 8 GP's without a win.

Yet, Kurtz won how many GP's consecutively at the end of 2025. 3 or 4? He'd ave been World Champion last year if you ignore the points from the sprints. Well we've barely seen him in Britain for what 4-5 seasons? Fricke deserved to win, unbeaten after his first ride. Zmarzlik picking gate 4 for the final was bizarre. I've never really been a fan of MJJ but enjoyed watching him tonight. I thought the track was great for 16 heats, the last 4 regular heats it seemed as if no rider really knew where to put the bike. After the rain it was on the edge of the dirt or noting. Without Lindgren, Bewley or the French Grasstrackers no one was likely to risk venturing into the really deep damp stuff.

Bednar beating Zmarzlik inspired Gorzow. Pollestad also came good. -

Why did Madsen qualify directly to the final over Holder. They had an identical record - 3 3 2 2 1 = 11 but Holder beat Madsen in their final heat. -
