Premier Travel Inn Price Increase
Chivs replied to holbeachfans's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
However is you have a quote and a letter(e-mail) confirming that price for that date - then that is what you should pay. Just tell them Watchdog have been informed - they jump through hoops then -
And that wouldnt cost me 5 Euro either Good plan
-
They are good baga Just a tad expensive

Who ya gonna call Chivsy Travel -
The lady on the Ryanair Customer Services line said they would e-mail everyone over the next few days as the new schedule only came out today I take it you are worried coming back on the Monday in case the Mighty Bees make the Play-offs?
-
Although I wasnt given the same information when I called - this at least gives us some hope that the flights might go and come back and better times than what theyve now planned. Here's hoping Cos I don't want Matt moaning all the way there!!
-
I've spoken to your daughter and given her the chivsy advice dont panic Mrs F!!

After looking at the various options available I think the Chivsy Travel Party will remain on the Thursday flight. The biggest problem we have is that I believe we have a couple of connecting flights booked - and when I said to Ryanair that I want compensation for those the lady gave me an address to write to Customer Standards Ryanair Head Office Dublin Airport Dublin Ireland I will certainly be writing off to them to complain - they have nearly fully booked the flight - so what do they do - just change the schedule - Customer Service my arse! Oh well - we'll just have to make up for the time in Stansted Airport - where there will be Matt Davis birthday drinks if anyone is interested

Steve, Chivsy Travel flew to Milan Bergamo from London Luton on an out friday back Monday weekend last year with Ryanair - reasonably cheap. Stayed in a nice hotel looking out onto Lake Garda - again a really nice price (check out Matts site for some pics) Once we worked out the quickest way to the stadium, it took about 45 mins. Really easy straight down the A4. We went for the practice as well. All in all a top weekend - stadium isnt great, but great atmosphere. If you want the hotel details just drop me a note

The Chivsy Travel Party will also be there for the first time this year That adds another 7

When you are off poorly you have to watch an old Speedway video. Yesterday it was the Bees 1996 season review. And I forgot how good it was to watch an old Bees video on the old Bees track. Brian Andersen, Simon Cross, Shaun Tacey, Stuart Robson, Kevin Little, Shane Bowes and Paul Bentley. Some good action, especially from Bowes who had a few decent rides. Thats what days off are for!

Hans Andersen Statement
Chivs replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
fair point superjoe. However - because he isnt in the Grand Prix next year doesnt mean that Hans Andersen will not ride speedway next year. He will still quite possibly have 3 or 4 jobs England Sweden Poland Denmark -
Hans Andersen Statement
Chivs replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Ive never been a fan of Hans Andersen, however in the GPs you want riders that can challenge the top guys on a regular basis during the qualification races and provide a bit of excitement and that is something that Hans can provide. Yes we know its a commercial decision nowadays, but would Puk bring more fans in to the Danish GP next year than Hans - i doubt it very much. But the one part that makes me laugh is when Hans says that he found out from a website. As it stood Hans wasnt in the GP for next year, so why would they need to ring him. He hasnt qualified for 2006, he was possibly going to be selected for a wild card. No point ringing someone who isnt included -
Stop whinging! Dont bother telling people i helped you out the sh*t with hotel rooms last year will ya And the fact you dont want 1 room you want 5
-
actually Turner - you are on my list but i havent seen you yet - wait for Monday mind you - last year you were on my list - and went home anyway
-
Now now kids - Chivsy Travel will also provide things for people to prop themselves up on step forward Fairy4Ever

Confirmed Wildcards Are.....
Chivs replied to SCB's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If that is the case Subedei then it has to be Pepe Walasek is not a Grand Prix rider and will never reach that sort of level again. -
Confirmed Wildcards Are.....
Chivs replied to SCB's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nicholls, Lindback, Hampel - nothing wrong with those decisions But when i go to any GP - the brits get my support first. Why the hell are British fans moaning at the fact that Lee Richardson has been given a wild card for next year. There is no other Brit who is even close to getting the shout for the GP. Even if it is for commercial reasons - so what. Just support the British lads in the GP - Lee has a much better chance of winning one than say Steady, Bomber, floppy or Loramski . -
Shawn, It might also have something to do with the fact that the rally is crap
