  1. VV Unfortunately once again you have opened your mouth just to get a reaction and the reaction you have received has pleased me with hardly any support for your ridiculous posting. Middlo and the boys have done the british thing this week and worn their hearts on their racejackets, and quite rightly feel frustrated at tonights result with a couple of bits of bad luck going against them. As far as I am concerned Middlo should start organising his trip to WC 2005 now. Proud of everyone of them
  2. sorry JY but i totally disagree. If the last heat was a top scorers race of something then i would agree, but they didnt break any rules and if crumpy had of won the last race then fair play they would have gone through.
  3. What I feel must be commented on was the lack of tactics from the Poles in Heat 24. When Hampel in third saw Jonsson in front and Adams in 2nd he should have been briefed already by his team manager that if sweden were winning he needs to come last - this would have put them 6 points behind also. But fair play - they qualified without the use of tactics, but you cant blame the aussies for using the joker in 25 - they were allowed to do so.
  4. But fair play to him - he managed to get Sweden through to the final cos with him providing diddly squat they were going out.
  5. Well Sky can use the whole bunch as summarisers now Even so tactics wise they still had the upper hand in Heat 25 although Crump was off the awful gate 1.
  6. I can only add to what has been said already. What superb entertainment. For Sweden Jonsson for fantastic, and fair play to Lindback to come back from 2 (should have been 3 exclusions). For the Poles Tomasz' ride in Heat 25 was awesome and fair play to him for speaking in English at the end of the meeting aswell. Kolodziej also deserves a mention for that win over Max. Crump and Adams had no support whilst the czechs did what was expected. Such a great meeting - this tape wont be recorded over I can guarantee that
  7. Think you are forgetting the Aussies Orion
  8. Has to be Odsal for me Just loved the racing there, and for some reason there was a kind of special atmosphere - even when it was half empty
  9. Thought Sam did ok, but im with Shovlar on this one, the presentations were awful.
  10. what a disaster Even my fantasy team is performing like my real life one - how depressing
  11. Im still in the top 8 for next year Well done to Team CGR and Silver Cheetah and of course FT C'mon the Allstars
  12. These are the 2 phone numbers re disabled parking spaces for the Millenium Stadium - they might have another number 029 2082 2145 or 029 2082 2141
  13. Superb result for Stuart and Floppy - well done lads
  14. What time does the meeting start SparkyJayne? Go robbo and floppy
  15. Does anyone know how many qualify from this meeting? and what the official riding order is? I fancy Stuart and Floppy to put on a good show, but it is tough to pick a winner - maybe Lukas if he is on a going day
  16. I suppose i will get the "rose tinted specs" comments, but Stuart Robson has done nothing wrong this year, and is riding very well, currently providing back up to Andreas. I would also like to David Norris given a shot, someone who could pop out in front at Cardiff and beat a few big names. Screeny is another who has come back with a good start, however this recent arm injury could have an affect in the next couple of months. Howe isnt really doing anything at the moment, and has already tasted Cardiff, whereas Neath I dont believe warrants a place, even if he is scoring freely. Deano again hasnt set any trees alight at Arena, but is another who could surprise, and a mention as well for Chris Louis, who I am sure would relish just one more go.
  17. Chivs Allstars lead after the 1st round - so if i can get a petition to stop the remaining 8 GP's does that make me the winner
  18. and that match was awesome on tv - tommy and erik on the phone to the ref after both being excluded. tommy said it was erik erik said it was tommy - superb stuff. Was this the meeting when ole bet gary newbon a fiver and "next time you double it" wow - im filling up
  19. However Hammer After speaking with Stuart yesterday, he knew nothing about it. :?:
  20. Sean Wilson beating Hans Nielsen 3 times in one match away at Oxford when riding for the Bees Brian Andersen scoring 19+1 at Kings Lynn Lawrence Hare scoring a maximum at Brandon on a cold wet March night
  21. from Coventry and extremely proud to be. And I also notice you are from teesside so you must classed as northern grow up - everyone is allowed their opinion.
  22. Valc, Sorry but I don't actually think that anywhere anyone has said that they won't be supporting the two British lads. He will be getting a lot of support from Coventry, Belle Vue, Eastbourne in fact from every team in Britain. Porter, What a load of tosh. Personally I would prefer to see a couple of riders who could make a difference to a race result, and I don't think Steady will or David for that matter. It doesn't matter if the Wildcards are American, Danish, Swedish, Outer Mongolian - after all they will be providing entertainment I would love to see 10 British riders in the GP, however you have to qualify the same as any nation, and if we only have 3, it just means that we don't have the calibre of riders that are required in the GP.
  23. Well I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I don't believe that Simon Stead deserves the wild card selection. David Howe I can live with that decision, but i don't really see the point in putting Steady in. I can list 3 or 4 riders who I think would do a better job as wild card - don't really think anyone deserves a place - I personally would pick 2 riders who could actually mix it at that level. Dean Barker having his best season for years Stuart Robson also having his best ever season Gary Havelock - always a rider for a big occassion Carl Stonehewer - would have qualified anyway if it wasn't for injury And to get flamed even more, why do both cards have to be british. I would have thought a great piece of GP management would have been to ask Billy Hamill to take a wild card slot. I am sure even Billy would have been tempted by a one-off chance. Good luck to both David and Steady - they will have my union jack support on the night, I just think they may get very very outclassed. Go on lads prove me wrong
  24. 4 for the final in no particular order Crump Gollob Pedersen (N) Max
