A47 is now fully open.

If any King's Lynn supporters intend travelling to the East of England Arena next Monday (23/5) for the Premiership Pairs, please be aware that from 8.00pm until the next morning the A47 is closed completely from Guyhirn onwards for 12-nights commencing last night (16/5), so you'll have to return home on the snail route with all its speed cameras through Whittlesey.

I've tried, they won't let me have one.

King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 7/4/22
Mimmo replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole finished up by watering their track last night. But people I know that were there, said it was so cold, it took the shine of what was a good race meeting, despite the score. -
Thank You.

Thank you Arch. Life is so lonely now, having been together for 62-years.

My wife and I used to come to Peterborough a lot even though we live the other side of King's Lynn, and that was made possible because she had a Blue Badge, and we could bring the car into the stadium. Sadly, she died a few weeks ago, so the Blue Badge had to be handed back to the authorities. But as I'm now very lonely, I thought I will still have some evenings at Peterborough, and did so yesterday. However, I'm 78-years old. Diabetic which has resulted in me being in severe pain in walking in my legs & feet, not to mention unsteady, and I'm asthmatic, which leaves me out of puff, so with much regret, I will have to discontinue my visits. The walk from the car park to the grandstand, is about a hundred steps or more to much for me now, and I realise that I'm probably not the only one like that. So I wish the Panthers all the best for the 2022 season, apart from when you race against King's Lynn..LOL. Enjoy watching the racing on one of the best circuits in the country, and just wish that I could be there from time to time. Good Luck to you all.

I heard dozens of people complaining about the car park, saying that if it's like it for the next home meeting, that will be their last. As for the centre green bloke, I think, but am not sure, that it was Roy Clarke who does one or two of the Northern tracks. Presenting meetings is not an easy job, but have to admit, that I can't remember seeing/hearing anybody quite that bad before. I think I saw him at Peterborough once as well, not at all good. But as I say, it's not an easy thing to do. Lots of people left before the end, but I know some of those were in the main car park, but that's the norm on race nights anyway, I think they just like to get away before all the mayhem starts as you exit. Eastbourne used to be a very good example of that too. Just glad that the weather was good, albeit damn cold when in the shade, and that a good crowd turned out for Lewi.

It's working on my computer now, but is terribly slow to load, as HGould said. Much preferred last years site to the new one.

This is what I've found out. The new websites having server issues. Had problems with it yesterday as well which suggests the new season means more traffic on the website and the current server package can't handle it. I've got the hosting company working on things last night and hopefully again today.

Thanks for that.

Is anybody having a problem get the BSPL website to open in its proper format this morning, as I can't get it to open?

It's going to be the same the following Sunday for people from Norfolk trying to go to Peterborough for the Ben Fund Meeting. local rag or EDP says that the A47 will be closed for 2-weeks from Wisbech to Peterborough, which includes next Sunday. Sorry, just read the posts above from other people. I shan't bother with the Ben Fund Meeting now.

Purely and simply because I'm on a reduced state pension, as I had to give up work when I was aged 42, and am now 78, through health issues,
-
I agree. My monthly income is a mere £636.39 a month now that my wife has died. So all forms of social life have virtually got to stop for me.
-
More so than ever when your spouse has died, and in my case, I have not been able to work due to health issues since 1985, so only source of income is a very reduced state pension.

It's a pity there are no security cameras in place, so as to catch these evil bastards.

NDL 2022 - AGM & League composition
Mimmo replied to PotteringAround's topic in National League Speedway
I know first hand that my friends that visited, thorough enjoyed themselves, and openly said that a straight 15-heats of speedway were very much second best to what was served up on the Isle of Wight. -
Great signing, I was hoping King's Lynn would get him.
