  1. They would be in the Speedway Star if the results were forwarded to them. All the other Amateur results are.
  2. BassoRacingFan thinks different, and maybe he's right, but I agree with you. We will have to see how many kids this genius idea brings through the turnstiles I guess.
  3. Match result 45-45 Superheat 6-3 League Table Result 3-1 I can't understand why people don't take our sport seriously.
  4. I'm pleased Peterborough have won, but think this Superheat is a crazy idea. Might as well have a penalty shoot out after every drawn football match.
  5. Thanks Tellboy, I've decided to not bother. Appreciate your help,
  6. I think the A47 between Guyhirn & King's Lynn is closed somewhere Steve.
  7. LOL...I didn't say which team I wanted to come and support
  8. Would Stefan Nielsen qualify, as he was riding No 6 for Sheffield, before they dumped him for a rider that is probably no better?
  9. I know this might be a long shot question, but with the Highways Agency using their usual lack of intelligence, parts of the A47 are closed at night from 8.00pm onwards, which coincides with long running works at Sutton Bridge on the A17 with it's traffic problems. Apart from hiring a helicopter, can anybody suggest a route from Peterborough to King's Lynn, without having to drive 15-20 miles out of my way please?
  10. I wanted to watch the Belle Vue v Ipswich meeting on my Discovery+ App last night, but it kept freezing so it wasn't at all enjoyable. I only recently decided to switch to this service, and have paid an annual subscription, but am disappointed and won't renew, as I never had any problems with freezing and such like when I watched Eurosport through my BT package.
  11. This tractor racing is becoming more tedious nearly everywhere, and it's really peeing people off now. At Peterborough last night, it only came out once all evening, and times and quality of racing, albeit mostly from Wolverhampton, were all in the 58.0+ bracket with the exception of Heats 12, 14 & 15 with the slowest being 59.1 which proves we don't need tractors every four races, if the weather is okay, and the track has been prepared properly in the first place. Interesting comment by Michael Palm Toft in the programme interview, when he says "My thoughts on the state of British Speedway is that there are some changes coming which I hope will improve it for all of us. I truly think to make changes to take a significant step forward would be to move from an amateur sport to a professional sport in Britain - that would really improve the sport here". Now I wonder what that's all about?????
  12. 60.35, 60.85, 61.06, 60.37, 60.69, 60.50, 61.59, 61.41, 61.34, 61.38, 61.47, 62.25, 61.94, 61.82 & 62.44
  13. Is everybody getting all these damn adverts from companies like SHEIN appearing between postings? It doesn't matter how many times you block them, they still appear!!
  14. Although Peterborough were poor in some departments, I actually thought that was the best racing we've seen at King's Lynn this season, and to me, proves the track doesn't really need grading every few heats.. Mr Basso certainly races with all guns blazing!! I think Lewi being dumped by Ulrich, fired him up, and he was superb all evening. Lovely to see. 10/10 to David Watters for keeping his finger on that 2-minute button throughout the evening, it kept the meeting flowing beautifully. I was home in time for Cocoa and a Custard Cream, instead of an early breakfast. Now lets sort Ipswich out on Thursday.
  15. Neither. As far as I know, the next meeting being broadcast is a week today from Belle Vue.
  16. Quite a few meetings I attend, people start to leave as soon as the interval comes, which is usually around Heat 11. They've basically got fed up standing around watch the track being graded. I agree about junior races as a second-half attraction, if that's when you meant it to be, and am personally all for that, but history in the modern era shows that the majority of people leave the stadium once the Main Event has finished. So my point, although that's not what your commenting on, is maybe the presenters at these meetings, could ask those leaving two thirds of the way through the meeting, why they are doing so. Maybe it isn't the tractor racing, but I wouldn't mind betting it is.
  17. Or interview those walking out long before the meeting finishes, which you see at quite a few tracks these days. Meetings take far to long to run. Barring accidents, 90-minutes is ample time.
  18. I understand the draw has now been made, but still can't find it anywhere.
  19. bigcatdiary, I've just been in touch with them in Prague, and the draw hasn't been made yet. They are practising at the moment, and Dan Bewley is the fastest so far.
  20. If any King's Lynn supporters intend travelling to the East of England Arena next Monday (23/5) for the Premiership Pairs, please be aware that from 8.00pm until the next morning the A47 is closed completely from Guyhirn onwards for 12-nights commencing last night (16/5), so you'll have to return home on the snail route with all its speed cameras through Whittlesey.
