    Tim Bungay

    What nationality was Tim?
  2. As others have said, that is a very well researched post. Can you clarify which nationality Kevin McDonald is though please..........I'm guessing he's Australian?
  3. You can take it any way you want to Parsloes. Yeah, remember it well. But does he still fit into it?
  4. The neighbours had been trying for years, the council, like most councils didn't have a clue, but neither can really be held responsible for the death of Canterbury Speedway. That honour goes to one man, and one man only!!! And I'm sure we both know who it is.
  5. He also rode for Poole in '95.........any more info anyone?
  6. What nationality is Scott Donovan anyone?
  7. And if it's Ian Clarke who rode for Reading and Stoke in 1998, it's 13/07/1981 - Edgeware, Middlesex, England.
  8. Geoff was born 26/4/1943 in Sydney if that helps.
  9. I believe Colin Clark passed away on 29/12/1979, and Brian Craven in April 1993. I had no idea Derek Cook is no longer with us, he was a great little rider in his day.
  10. Actually, he made his league debut for Poole one year before that in 1972.
  11. I just hope you get a better response with your 'B' riders, Frigbo.
  12. That's right!!! Tommy Rander I believe was the guy in question............what scuppered his plans, does anyone know?
  13. Please share then Shazzy, because as I remember it we had no idea that we'd seen our last meeting at Kingsmead when we left the track on that dark October night back in 1987. The first I heard about it was when Malcolm Mitchell (remember him? ) announced it on 'Scene South East' (remember that? ) some weeks later. You may of course be right, but that's the way I remember it..........but what happened that winter actually reduced me to tears, I'm not afraid to admit it.
  14. I can only help you out with one I'm afraid Frigbo. Des Allen was born in Mildura.
  15. Does anyone have any info on where and when Ken was born?
  16. Let's just say that unless you've consumed a minimum of seven pints of lager, you'd never entertain the thought of buying one.
  17. Many, many thanks for that arnieg.
  18. Write it down on little pieces of paper and store it in my anorak pocket.
  19. Can anyone help with Hackney track record, holder, and date set for the end of 1983, 1991 and 1996 please?
  20. Unfortunately, the logistics of doing that won't work.
  21. That's a real shame, but thanks for the info anyway Peter. Are there any other Danish tracks that may possibly run a meeting on that day?
  22. Thanks for the tip off Gem, I'll certainly give that a try.
  23. Just bringing this back to the top in the hope someone has the details - thanks.
  24. Well there's a name from the past - does anyone remember him?
