Has anyone got any details of Les, who rode for Halifax and Long Eaton in 1967 please? His birth date and place would be great, or any other facts or memories about the guy would be most welcome.

I'd be interested to hear anyone's stories about Sverre. I'd also like his date, and place of birth if anyone knows please. It's always good to read about the old times and I'm sure many people have good memories of watching Sverre race.

That reminds me that I read somewhere that the BBC building that now stands on the site of the old White City Stadium, has an inscription on the floor indicating where the start line was.................. so sad!!!
