  5. Hey Addy, I've just looked back over the last few posts and I reckon we've hijacked one of honey's threads - now there's a turnaround ;-)
  6. Who did Canterbury proud too :!:
  7. But like the mans saying......hes only being honest! I have to tell you, for sure, he's only being honest, whooooooooah and back to Greenie in the studio.
  8. Don't go there Addy - he gets touchy about it :clown
  9. You're doing well mate, and like I said all the best. Have you considered setting up the site now and uploading each year when you've completed it? Just a thought (and I'm so impatient) ;-)

  12. A bit puzzled on this one Honey - In '87 we didn't draw Peterborough in the Cup, but we lost there 29-49 in 1986. So far, so good. But the Crusaders' scorers that night were:- Dave Mullett 9 Mike Spink 10 Alan Mogridge 6 Rob (Nobby/Hollywood  ) Tilbury 3 Alan Sage 1 Steve Bryenton 0 Gary Hopkins 0 Any help mate :?:
  13. The best of luck with this project frigbo - any idea when it's going online?
  14. Thanks mate - love you too Double check everything you type before posting it from now on Lioness. ;-) :clown
  15. Yep, I do. I saw some excellent meetings at The Weir involving Canterbury, and even remember one Bank Holiday when they had Speedway in the morning and Stock Cars in the afternoon. Good days indeed, and I always had admiration for Tiger Beech (even though he was a Rocket ;-) ).
  16. My guess is that he was a Middlesbrough junior who "guested" for Canterbury owing to non-arrival/injury of one of the Crusaders.
  17. Didn't he give a mention to Leigh - surely a 15 point maximum deserved some sort of recognition :?:
  18. Yep - I've held my hands up on another thread and admitted I was wrong (and not just about Floppy).
  19. That just about says it all - but I just want to say that I have been critical of two of the GB lads (as you know Rabbit and Shazzy ;-) ) on this forum before, but tonight they proved me completely wrong - and I admit it. This team can win this event for us, so lets just get behind them (after tonight there's no question that they deserve it) and wish them all well in their quest to bring home the honours. Scott, Lee, Dean, David and Gary - tonight you made me proud to be British.
  20. That would have been 1986 Deano and Rob Tilbury and Mike Spink were also in the team. Hang on, 1986, were you riding too that night Honey?
  21. Yeah, that's right Shazz - I remember now - A really nice guy - He went out of his way to get me a Newport badge many years ago.
  22. You should ask for extra money if you have to listen to Wogan :clown
