Haven't heard of it but it would solve all the problems the Elite League has as well as making the GP a more 'Elite' Group with 16 riders all capable of actually winning a GP. I'd say its a good idea. 14 regulars and 2 wildcards?
With the qualification criteria already in place for 2004, let's hope Olsen's plans are for 2005 and beyond, otherwise we have another farce about to unfold.
If memory serves me right, Boston actually had sea shells on the track - can you confirm honey? After all I'm sure you must have inspected the track closer than your average fan. ;-)
Sorry mate, but seriously, do you remember the shells :?:
I'm a bit confused on this one Mick50.
As you rightly say England won the 3rd Test at New Cross 62-46 in 1949, but my records show the top scorers to be Jack Parker, Dent Oliver, Tommy Price and Bill Gilbert.
So where were Bill Gilbert and Dent Oliver in the photo you have?
Has anyone got the full scorers for this match or have any explanation please?
I saw him ride there once and the memories of him riding up the banking on the corners and then sweeping down the inside is still with me today. An outstanding rider on his day.
I guess that's the Archangel Crump you are refering to Addy?
Well you weren't there so how can you comment? :?:
I wasn't commenting on that particular incident - my post was based on many observations at many tracks over many years
I'd love to see the SGP staging rounds in the following places (but all outside of our domestic season).
USA - Ideally Indianapolis
Aussie - Sydney was fine
Russia - Moscow Dynamite's stadium.
Japan - Not sure where to be honest.
and in Europe
Paris - as above post
Monaco - as above post
Dublin

Glad to hear it - this was a suggestion I made on another thread last night - I'm sure the BSPA will win damages (or they will if there's any justice left in this world!)
They can't hide the fact that Olsen is Race Director and therefore should go - he is in overall charge of track preparation and therefore responsible.
