  1. Brady Kurtz Tate Zischke Tom Brennan Ben Cook Dan Bewley Connor Bailey? Flint/Cairns (RS)
  2. I think it’s used to wedge the pit gate shut during races.
  3. Pleased you know the current rules. Can you share them with the rest of us by way of cut & paste? Thanks in advance.
  4. Robert would be a great addition to Lynn on 7.61 or 7.81. Not so good for the Aces as we have the most work to do with having the highest total average and he would probably be reassessed for us 8.50-9.00. Be good to see him return to the UK.
  5. Quote the rule please. The SCB themselves issued a statement detailing Brady’s aborted participation for his Polish League Club Rybnik in their league fixture on the 15th June 2024. There was no mention of his participation in the FIM meeting by the SCB. They were happy with that yet we have two fans who decide to dismiss the opinions of the rule makers (odd when they are so intent on upholding the rules as put out by the er SCB) and follow there own little crusade against this Belle Vue Ace. History is against you, the SCB are against you, I am very much against you. It’s 2024 though and you are entitled, entitled to post on social media whatever nonsense you wish to invent to satisfy your own agenda and to hell with the rest. Brady’s wrong, I’m wrong, the SCB are wrong etc etc etc but you are right.
  6. You did however, between 8:45 on Monday and today make 7 (and counting) post throwing doubt on his injuries or questioning why he’s not been banned.
  7. Apparently so as injured riders have participated in FIM events without reproach for decades. If you suddenly want to ban the Collins, Carters, Lorams and Kurtz of this world then go for it. There is a point where you hold your hands up and say, yes this IS a different situation, especially given the amount of historical information to base my opinion on. You are entitled though to continue to lambast this particular Belle Vue rider.
  8. Your problem is with Brady riding in an FIM meeting. Multiple riders have done this over the decades without reproach. You cannot have a problem with one but not another - can you?
  9. If you choose to believe it’s the exact same then knock your self out and enjoy it. It’s not. They have completed foreign league meetings whilst Brady has not. Failing to acknowledge that important point makes your actions transparent. Your opinion of FIM participants whilst injured disgusts me but it is what it is. The fact that Brady was in hospital on Monday afternoon with breathing problems whilst being diagnosed with broken rids and all you could do was lump him in with these come day go day Johnnie’s is beyond words. Enjoy every day is my motto and you’re certainly doing that. Grim!
  10. If you look historically, it has been. If you get some kind of buzz from dragging Brady, Peter and Kenny etc into this then knock yourself out. More ammunition for you, Peter swerved a Newport fixture after the death of his great friend Tommy Jansson. He thought the circuit dangerous and couldn’t face riding there following the loss of his friend. I’ll not share your opinion of him when I catch up with him next as I cannot emphasise how much your opinion disgusts me.
  11. Whilst he’s not broken any rules in the rulebook he has or is going to break a forum rule that’s in these simpletons head due to him being an Ace. It could be any illogical notion that they fixate on at the time. No facts, links, credibility but it keeps them happy for a bit until the next mind bogglingly stupid idea pops into their spacious brains. The stupidity of speedway fans is only surpassed by their continued desire to confirm it on social media.
  12. “Captain Brady Kurtz, who was ruled out of the Owlerton leg of their bank holiday Monday after feeling the effects of a crash in Poland the previous week, remains sidelined for Wednesday. His rides will be covered by Rider Replacement with each of his ATPI Aces team mates eligible to fill his shoes should he be called upon to do so.” Glad to see The Aces are back to putting out meeting previews in a timely manner. Many thanks to Buster. Least we don’t need to resort to leaking things on social media.
  13. 010.5 FACILITIES h. sick or carrying a non-speedway injury. The rider must immediately inform the SCB and their club. A Medical Certificate must be supplied to the SCB within 48 hours of the sickness/injury occurring in which case the rider will receive a mandatory 7 day suspension of his SCB Registration from the day of the first meeting missed. Other teams riders can do as they please and the forum turns a blind eye. Aces riders do nothing wrong and you get pages and pages of made up poo about bans etc. Trolls!
  14. Alpha bites & wedges guessing. There’s no chicken as it’s participating in the national championship back home.
  15. The way I saw it by the tapes was Jake committed a starting offence when his bike with a faulty clutch pulled him into the tapes when reving, whilst the green light was on. His bike only pulled forward when at max(ish) revs immediately before the tapes were due to rise. This was a starting offence for which he was disqualified. Starting offences are a singular event and nothing from that is carried forward throughout the meeting. Later in the meeting he received a warning for moving at the start resulting in an unsatisfactory start. Nowadays the ref can let the race continue even if he thinks the start was unsatisfactory. The decision on whether to restart a race is if the ref feels such movement impedes other riders. This came in when fans were disgruntled about repeated attempts to start a race. Warnings carry through a meeting and should Jake had moved again it would then be treated as a full on starting offence complete with disqualification.
  16. I’ve edited my post and if anything it emphasises the point I’m making. Thanks.
  17. Anybody who thinks Brady would choose to miss a meeting 30 miles away where four rides and eight points would bag him £3k+ for (as the forum insists) four minutes work is soft in the head. That’s nearly four full weeks wages for most of us.
  18. Ok I went to McDonald’s the other day and I was annoyed at Burger King because they didn’t tell me that McDonald’s chocolate shake maker wasn’t working.
  19. This is true of any UK league rider that participates in foreign leagues. Quite why an Ace is being trolled in this manner is beyond me. It was the same earlier in the season, if Brady does this or if Brady does that then he’ll be banned. He did nothing to be banned for and wasn’t banned but the troll bile keeps flowing. Unbelievable!
  20. They didn’t “go into any great detail” in todays meeting report on the website saying “Brady Kurtz was forced to withdraw still suffering the effects of a crash in Poland a week ago”. As for information prior to the evening meeting. When money speaks, the truth keeps silent.
  21. and the Sheffield promotion who were staging the event and aware of Brady’s wellbeing.
  22. Whilst this forum is well known for the wrong un’s (some officially) or what I use to call scumbags it’s utterly amazing the depths these people will stoop to on a public forum for some peculiar thrill. They go on about riders missing meetings on a whim but when one gives it a go he then continues to get laid into. The lad was in hospital for Christ sake - what the hell is wrong with you. I know he’s an Ace and you love to troll The Aces but this is an unwell human being FFS. Why are Belle Vue and Lemon the only ones being held to account for the publicity surrounding a Sheffield fixture. They run the show and have final say. I’d not be surprised to see The Aces blamed for their pee poor track. Just back off with the tedious trolling of The Aces and try using your brain and attack the correct target. We made sure the information got out there unofficially.
  23. No. I’m saying Belle Vue didn’t get any gate money from the evening fixture.
  24. My Dad sent me this. http://www.sheffield-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3574
