Answer the question maybe?
-
How many meeting at Leicester have been better this season and can I view them on the Lions Tv page?
-
Tough night for the Lions as Brady & Dan were on fire last night, wet or dry. Great to see our Colt mixing it well after a tough time in the top division and sad to see Max perform so badly, an awful performance. The riders in between did more or less as expected with good and bad rides - Norick being the most frustrating. Good and bad could also describe the racing as some were spread out then you’d get a moments of genius giving us the entertaining we crave. The Aces do seem to have gained in confidence having a full team again. A full strength Aces team rarely gets turned over, the exception being Leicester back in April, so it’s all to play for. Now on to Thursday, surely it’s possible to have the track prepared for racing. Can’t the Leicester fans demand the promoters provide a racing strip fit for the event?

That’s the agenda for day 1, sponsored my Mcvities.
-
Only the Quest “highlights”. As with the Sheffield second leg, it was bloody awful.
-
You’ve just unknowingly set the agenda for the next AGM, the most important AGM for a generation - again.
-
It’s quite apt that the showpiece event of the whole season will end up being gate’n’go as essentially that’s what the league is now - a gating competition. Supporters up and down the country are more than happy with it and do not feel the need to badger their promoters about the quality of entertainment on offer.
-
Could have done a PL & NDL play off double but for the late fixtures and the Cairns signing.
-
Belle Vue always have last pick.
-
That’s correct. There was a rule that demanded RR for 4th or 5th missing riders. This is from the 2019 rule book. 18.8 FACILITIES B.1 absent rider 4-5 by MA. RR

Gutted about Ben as he was our top man when we last met the lions home & away. Paid 24 over the two meetings is big shoes to fill for his replacement but I fear it’ll be down to the remaining Aces to pick up this shortfall. Let’s hope it doesn’t cost us AGAIN. I think there will be another GP at Cardiff as well.

Well that was nice. Not sure what pleases me the most, the fact we’re in the final or that we scuppered Bates’ rigged plan for two healthy paydays. Given the ultimate importance of winning this tin pot, I’d have to say I’d rather have a fit & well Ben than qualify. The horror track predictably strikes again. I really thought our play off injury hoodoo was giving us a rest this year but it wasn’t to be. Once again it makes things more difficult to succeed. Ben’s paid 11 with a fine win in heat 13 last time we visited Leicester cannot be replicated but I hope the rest of the lads can up their game and limit the damage whilst covering for him. Do it for Ben lads, the nation is behind you.

There’s 6-8 supposed Aces fans that come out of the woodwork come play off time - they’re blonkers. They are mostly kept in check by true Aces fans or just ejected by security at NSS. Aces fans can react strongly to insulting/unjust comments about the team or cheering when one of us falls. Aside from that we’re just out for a laugh and to enjoy the racing. Hoping for this later….. Jack 12+1 Kyle 5+1 Chris 12 Josh 8+3 Harris 5 Jason 4 Dan 4+1 50 Brady 9 Norick 4 Jaimon 7 Ben 5 Dan 11 Anitti 4 Jake 0 40

You should be a promoter, if you’re not already.

Gating competition. Sheffields gating gloves seeing them through to a mouthwatering final with Leicester. A ray of light for fans tuning in is I won’t be watching and whenever I don’t watch it’s a great meeting apparently.

Pickering will swing this tie in favour of the tigers. Over his last six meetings he has scored a colossal 88 points or nearly 15 per meeting. His average over these meetings is 10.06, a really rich vein of form - unfortunately for us. -

Terrific year from him. The highest averaged rider currently participating in the premier league, over half a point above second placed Dan. -

31/08/24. We need to call the play off’s as otherwise clubs won’t have enough time for promotion and publicity plus Discovery’s needs the notice to organise OB. Can’t you wait a couple of days to see how the lions get on at Kings Lynn? No, it’s not enough time. Two weeks later. 13/09/24 Guess we need to crack on organising Leicester’s 1st leg on the 23rd. Should I let Discovery know where they’re going? No, we’ll sort it all on the 20th. A long weekend is all discovery needs to sort OB and the clubs involved can stick something on their website.

Of course it will be at Leicester as Discovery needs time to organise staff and OB vehicles as is the case with the semi’s - I’ve got that right haven’t I? Late Thursday night until Monday is no time at all for promotion and publicity that needs completing for commercial reasons, or has this thinking only lasted a week? -

I still think it will be the tigers going to Leicester a week on Monday for the first leg of the final. Surprised there’s no promotion and publicity on the Lions website etc. Not even a thread on here yet. -
