Try that on with Hans and he’ll say bye then, I’ll concentrate on my foreign contracts, he has leverage. Cook has none and as a member of the side they are looking to jettison anyway they can come up with all kinds of unappetising deals as they probably thought he’d take it as he only has Glasgow. If not they can alway play the wounded soldier and the lovely fans will get behind them It’s been an exasperating few days but I’m glad it’s over now.

It’s a matter of opinion whether you think the all white logos and lettering as apposed to the branded colours of last year gives better exposure to your paying sponsors. They must have been heavily consulted on this as paying benefactors of the sport and obviously prefer just the white. Just shows what I know about marketing and branding. Looking forward to all clubs in all leagues adopting this so we can finally see an upturn in companies who provide sponsorship.

Any sport that requires similar outlay on equipment so you can participate, leaves the design of the “uniform” and the majority of sponsors there on it, up to the competitor.

Riders where compensated for that, why not this as I’m not too sure quite how this fundamentally differs?
