  1. The same mystery person told Wolves & Cradley but this person refuses to come forward now. Toby Lorone - please read it carefully, did the Edingburgh announcement.
  2. Belle Vue said they would release news on Wednesday, that today. In the meantime we've had a mystery person at Cradley and Toby Lerone both give out "information". The way you guys lap it up on here I can't help thinking that my Nigerian uncle can get himself out of his current finance problems. He's a prince you know.
  3. Yep 06/10/14. Still waiting for my fuel, hotel, sausage roll and drinks to be reimbursed by that con man. Signed, Angry of Mayfair.
  4. Funny that the riders haven't refused to race at Poole. So still safer than BV??
  5. If theres a rut then theres no speedway - simply as. If Ford let's fans in knowing this he is nothing but a con man, apparently.
  6. Belle Vue will not be riding on any track with holes or ruts. The machinery is out sorting our track so I suggest other tracks get sorting or let your fans know beforehand. That's the way it is from now on. Dave Gordon let fans in then the track was found to be unraceable at best after the practise spins once everybody was in. Are you saying he let people in once he had made his announcement that the riders wouldn't ride?
  7. That's a message from the man that heard it. I wanted the contact details of the person that said it not someone who say they heard it. Please pm me asap.
  8. Do you have contact details for the person that said this or better still if they are on here could they pm me?
  9. I think the vast majority there last night were locals who will re use their tickets for the re run or an alternative fixture. Those from further afield will probably want a refund due to all the ancillary costs incurred. I myself no longer travel any great distance to watch the sport after years of travelling the UK and Europe as it not worth it. Seeing modern day riders going through the motions or not even bothering if rain is in the air has seen to that. Still there's two new DVDs coming out featuring Hyde Road and Mort so they will keep me entertained without the worry of another superstar no show.
  10. It's been on the local ITV news that the meeting will be re run with tickets valid for the re run or refunds for those that cannot make it.
  11. Some modern day "star" riders are pussies. If you don't want to ride speedway don't be a speedway rider, if you do get on with it and as one ex rider told me put on a show. I hope it is not rerun with that shower, I will be getting a refund as I cannot bring myself to pay to watch these soft a*** "riders" I will however gladly turn up if the Craven meeting is run as the old junior championship. I feel so so sorry for The Aces management having put faith in these so called stars, they deserved better than that.
  12. Most, leaving some. Looks like we're getting close to agreement. The place on earth you need is in the SCB rule book. Don't worry about the Manchester weather as we have state of the art drainage and track covers. Normally you only need worry if it's raining whilst the meeting is on but I'm sure Tony Steele and your other "friends" would ensure the meeting went ahead.
  13. You call out teams when they cheat it doesn't matter even if it's your team. I made more fuss online and in person about hosegate than I have about any individual poole cheat. The fact that I've had cause to speak up about poole 15-20 times over the last 10 years or so and The Aces just once is circumstance and not poole bashing. I would have mentioned those cheats whoever it involved. The fact that poole cheat so often to gain results formed the basis for my prediction that they will need to cheat again to beat us to another title.
  14. I'd cough up a lung if I had to run through all the poole cheats.
  15. I still think Poole will need to cheat again to beat us. It would be nice to see an end to this kind of thing but I can't see it just yet unfortunately.
  16. You can at The Natuonal Speedway Stadium. If you are 18 or under its free!!
  17. You will probably be able to sit on the terraceing once the crowd finds it regular level. If it hold 4000 people standing then it holds 2000 people sitting. Add in a half full grandstand and some on the bends and it makes for an EL crowd of 3000 plus, far higher than the norm. Best stadium, best track, the world famous Belle Vue Aces with nowhere cheaper. What's not to like. The track shop should start selling branded seat pads for people to use.
  18. I've parked in the cinema car park for twenty odd years and I'm going to continue to do so, I'll just walk right instead of left.
  19. It's a great deal for kids. Some clubs charge for five year olds and above, that's seven years paying to get them in when it's free at Belle Vue. Anyone doing that are rip off merchants in my mind.
  20. I'm guessing that no other EL track has dropped their prices then? Kudos to Belle Vue for building a state of the art new circuit and then making it cheaper for fans to view. The £23 plush seats are a commendable venture as many have proposed increased costs. It's the best chance to try it out as raising the fee as some manky rented dog track wouldn't work. Is all swings and roundabouts anyway as due to the generous age bandings at Belle Vue it's often cheaper when taking family groups, even when sitting, again an excellent bit of promotion from The Aces.
  21. Have any other clubs dropped their admission fees? If it's just The Aces then I think they should be applauded.
  22. Could use it to warm up Newmans goggles so they don't mist up. Much like Newmans goggles the pipes aren't being used on track, though at least not having the pipes doesn't break any rules. LOL
