Preview Swedish 2010 Season
superguest replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
Surely racing on national holidays is good for crowds? It is here... -
Any pics or videos uploaded of these meetings? Well done to Adrian and on a successful comeback for Hynek after his serious back injury.
-
Well done to Josh, I hope he has a great season in 2010. However I think the kid to watch out for next season is called Sam Masters!

TBH, all of the current Aussies have massive Ego's. I think It's just part of the Aussie culture. You can tell when an Aussie has lived over here long enough, they turn all soft ala Johno and Kevin Doolan!
-
I really hope Freddie's switch to GM's will boost him up into the top 8. He rode so hard for 7 points a lot of times last year, which is just not enough... 9 points plus is needed to make the top 8 it would seem. Tai I feel could really struggle if he believes in all the hype surronding him. Anyways I hope Rune and Bomber also have successful GP campaigns, it would be good to see Crump and Hancock fade and new riders challenge.

That crash looked incredibly painful

They don't have assets. However, by signing a contract for Torun, he cannot compete against them. Lewis Bridger has been screwed over by this as he never gets a place in Częstochowa, but he can't sign for another team. Plus injuries do happen in speedway! -

Tai and Bomber are in the GP series in 2010 to keep British fans interested in the series. We may as well put Darth Vader in as most GB fans outside of Essex, Swindon, or Banbury don't rate or even like Richardsson. -

Which again proves how stupid the GPs are... when a rider of Nicolai's ability might actually do OK in the GP's yet Harris will always struggle. I will be watching Liglads scoring this year... is he signed up to ride in Poland and Sweden? I mentioned him on the Wolves site as a possible replacement for Hynek but it didn't get many replies -

Sorry mate, but my opinion of Harris is totally bias. I've seen the guy pull off some amazing moves, shame his craft is totally wasted on the continent. -

I'd have liked to have seen a field including Rico, Ulamek and Walasek as oppossed to Harris, Tai and Freddie. All up and coming, exciting, fearless young talents with plenty to prove and lots to gain. -

Well Lindgren would have qualifed and freed up another WC spot for Holder. So you'd like to run the GP's with just 12 riders then? Lindback, Davidsson and Zagar possibly worth more of a shout than Tai and Harris but all the while you go on about the Qualifier - 1 outta the 3 made it to the final! -

With Poznan not too far away I think Gorzow will prove to be a great venue for overseas fans. What is the track like at this venue? -

Seems there will be 3 teams with all the good riders in Sweden, and everyone else just picking up the rest. Surely not sustainable? -

They can put Simon in the main body. Emil will only be a junior for 2010 season so possibly they are just preparing themselves for the future? Not sure if Emil has a Polish license could he not ride as a Pole ala Holta. -

If people are judging Tai on what happened at Lakeside he was asked what the fuss was about with Richardsson and his reply was 'I was having a bad day' and ' things had happened in Poland' -I looked on the internet and noticed Tai rode the day before and the morning (In Poland) of the semi final at lakeside. Their team was knocked out of the play offs with Rico scoring 0. -

Whilst I can see why people are up in arms over the Wildcard picks the fact that Edward and Tai have been so written off from the start makes me want them to do well . It's not their fault they are British! With so many GP's taking place in Polska will Poland demand 4 GP riders I wonder
