  1. Until they have qualifying for riders 9-15th then you will get this arguement of who is more deserving of a place ... Zagar, Lindback etc are great riders but in the GP series will always come 10-15th. Kennett can do no worse I guess. As for Tai, well he will gain experience and maybe add a bit of drama. It would be interesting to see who are on averages in the leagues the worlds top 15 riders.
  2. Poor show by the two Aussie wonderkids. The Poles are a very proud of their colours. I'm sure they'll be regretting it now!
  3. Have to say it will be weird next year if Freddie is not in the GP's and Tai is. Surely they need to look at league averages? Tai will have to give up any hopes of being under 21 champ too as I can't see him being able to fit the meetings in!
  4. Well done Zielona Gora. Looks like the real PUK turned up this evening! I bet Torun wish they'd have ridden their home leg on the original date now.
  5. Ideally 9. Freddie 10. Hans 11. Zagar 12. Lindback Probably 9. Hans 10. Zagar 11. Tai 12. Richardsson
  6. Scottish born and bred... For what it's worth I can see why Gollob was annoyed but he shouldn't have left his bike on the track. However I don't think it's neccessary to ban him - a fine and a good telling off and the misery of seeing Pedersen win his home GP will no doubt suffice as punishment!
  7. Young German rider who was very seriously injured in a world team cup meeting at the start of 2009 season
  8. Hes been hyped up so much that people think if he doesn't win or does anything negative he's a failure and a target for people to slag off.
  9. What I mean is British fans will see him as an adopted Brit. A lot will go to Cardiff and cheer for him much like a lot of Poles cheer for Emil. Who are the best 16 riders? I think you can say who the Top 10 is but the top 16 is all down to opinion.
  10. The problem is, is that there are only 8 world class riders. So no matter who you select, 7 are going to fail. Going into a season - Crump, Gollob, Hancock and Pedersen are going to be in that top 8. So really there is only 4 places up for grabs. Emil, AJ, Bjerre and Freddie have held those most of the season, but Hans and Holta look like piping Bjerre and Freddie. Really these 10 should be selected, plus the 3 qualfiers and then the 2 token Brits to keep the sponsers happy, unless there is anyone of real note worth risking ala Emil last year. Darcy might be an option as he could be an adopted Brit.
  11. It seems Tai is going through a spell of unpopularity. He has been hyped up way too much though. Be interesting to see how Darcy deals with it next season. Lindback was hyped up from the moment he made his debut in Britian and look what that did. Pavlic a simular story.
  12. Burning them out and both possibly not riding in England as with some other GP stars?
  13. Nevermind Tai there's always next year. Good score for Nicolai too. Well done Darcy, shame Nicolai couldn't beat him to set up a 4 way tie for 1st place!
  14. Good luck Tai, Nicolai and Darcy. Please one of you spolil Jurica's day! Lol
  15. I can see this being 2010 line-up. 1. Jason Crump AUSTRALIA 2. Tomasz Gollob POLAND 3. Emil Sayfutdinov RUSSIA 4. Greg Hancock AMERICA 5. Andreas Jonsson SWEDEN 6. Nicki Pedersen DENMARK 7. Hans Andersen DENMARK 8. Rune Holta POLAND 9. Kenneth Bjerre DENMARK (WC) 10. Chris Harris GREAT BRITAIN or Freddie Lindgren SWEDEN (WC) 11. Magnus Zetterstrom SWEDEN 12. Chris Holder AUSTRALIA 13. Jarek Hampel POLAND 14. Matej Zagar SLOVENIA (WC) 15. Lee Richardsson GREAT BRITAIN (WC)
  16. The Poles probably bring a few with them to league meetings, but I see your point.
  17. Will the pressure get to him though? I reckon Darcy or THJ will spolit the party!
  18. Did they need him? Maybe he wanted to be a full time member and could only offer a few meetings due to their already strong squads. I'd imagine Bydgoscsz, Zielona Gora, Wroclaw, Gorzow would have picked him had he not been a GP rider.
  19. Tai seems to have stepped up a gear since then but either way it is way too soon for him.
  20. I'd would usually agree with you on the Brandon front but I have actually seen some pretty good races at Brandon this year.
  21. Until Holder gets hurt riding on these slick rutted up tracks or his form drops off in Britian with 15 Gp's planned for 2010, along with Polish and Swedish fixtures
  22. It would be great to try and get that flown over to Wolves on Monday
