Well Done Denmark !
superguest replied to Phil The Ace's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think its a great way to keep us all interested. Id have hoped Denmark would have won yes, but even still its a test for the managers and riders and under so much pressure and adrenalin, great drama. I think the Joker rule is good but maybe should be increased 8 like in the EL (I Know its 9 and 10 now) -

Swc Round 2 Coventry 14th July
superguest replied to skid row's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think you should all look at what happened in Denmark over the last week, a mini WC on 80cc bikes between Danish, Swedish, Polish and Austrialian teenagers...where was the young British lads???...The SCB must have known it was happening because the ref was British. We've gotta put far more in to get any rewards like winning the SWC. I hope Denmark do win, they have an awesome team full of characters and entertaining riders. -

Maybe the overseas riders who usually have to speak English to communicate with their mechanics and team mates relish the relaxed and real team ethnicy in riding for their nation. Sweden's team tonight was not very good but they all rode with so much heart and made Team Coventry look awful -

Polish Ref Out Of Gps

Seems like a pretty poor excuse to me. Ref's can always go back just declare that that riders point are taken away, the result stays the same. -

The ref excluded Freddie after the race for going over the curb, why didnt he exclude Nicki after the race? -
Hahah good one!

"british Fans A Disgrace"
superguest replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I do find it funny, how weve got a thread from the fans slagging Nicki P off, and a thread where Nicki P is apparently slagging the fans off. Although not quite as funny as the thread during the winter where 98% of fans voted for him as their number 1 in their dream team... -

Maybe he rides the smaller tracks better, he'd definetly better than the Messings over here. Just think Peter Ljung is a pretty poor choice with so many good junior riders...THJ, Kling and Forseberg (usually) -

Can't argue with that, Zorro better bet than Ljung though? or Forseberg if they wanna give a youngster chance. -

Can't believe that Adams Shields has not been picked. Hes riding superbly at the moment. I'd have took him over Sullivan or Watt, definetly. As for Lindback, hes no-where near EL standard at the moment and could do with a year id imagine out of the spot light completely. Surpised PK hasnt been chose, and if it was because of his age, then why not pick Billy Forseberg istead? -
Of course they will have some stiff opposition, but Ive seen a lot of these two riders and both arent typical brits who can only ride small tracks. They are fearless (you'd have to be ride Buxton ) and should definetly aiming to make the final. Good luck to them!
