Chris Harris doesn't fiddle his average each year though does he?? Rides poorly at times until the playoffs, then rides like a world champion in the playoffs as they don't count for averages.
When it's only two riders over 8 points Harris is 7.99....two over 7, Harris 6.99.....Still Coventry and their riders never manipulate the rules as they're whiter than white.........not!!!!
Let's face it all teams do it at sometime...'cough' Troy Batchelor having a couple ef's to lower his average to get Darcy in 'cough'.
Team colours were an idea of the late Simon Wigg and came in a year or two before Sky started showing the Elite League.
In 1999, Sky's first year of showing the Elite League, team colours were not used by most teams.
The only team that I can remember using them in 99 was Peterborough.
At Darcys meeting on Wednesday, out of the two, Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder, Jack Holder looked the better of the two, scoring in all his rides, whereas Brady won the two reserves races and was well last in his other three outings.
Wasn't the GP in Poland the same place as Darcy was in hospital?? Didn't Holder not ride in Sweden on the Tuesday after Darcys crash?? Therefore Holder didn't ride his next meeting on compassionate grounds the same as Dakota North??
No, but he rode in the Czech golden helmet meeting today and reached the final!! Errr Paul Starke scored zero too!! And he hasn't been replaced.............yet!!
Anyway......back to the meeting...I wonder how many times dumb and dumber will mention how Coventry have won at Poole already this season? ..but fail to mention that Watt and Janowski were both out injured at the time?? Or the fact Coventry got walloped 53-37 when Poole and Coventry both had their full 1-7 in the B fixture??
If it rains Friday and Monday, just put the team who finished higher in the league into the final If its raining at Swindon, winner of first leg to final Job done!!
(Just kidding before Swindon and Coventry supporters have a go)
