  1. Remind me what the score was in the A fixture??And it was the full Poole team bar Paul Starke (Lewis Rose guested for him) and Holder scored 14 riding at no.2!!!!!!! (55-38 in case you can't remember).
  2. Anyone else think it's ironic that both riders who were banned, will now be riding for the same team in Poland?? (When Dudek's ban is over of course).
  3. I remember a few years ago the Poole fans having a collection for Jesper Olsen when he got injured and he only guested for Poole a couple of times.
  4. You forget their will only be 6 Poole riders contributing in this meeting. It's a "small" track so expect one Poole rider to replicate his Belle Vue score!!!!!!Think it will be 49-41 to Wolves.
  5. I'm no expert on this, but I believe I'm about right on this.......I'm sure someone will know more than me:-When Speedway first started, they used ordinary road bikes (maybe with off road tyres??) and of course they had brakes too!! But it was found to be MORE dangerous with brakes, so they were removed to make the racing safer. Imagine if your right behind another rider going into the bend and they hit the brake.......ouch!!
  6. Exactly!! Every one of the other 7 EL teams would of made a team place for Darcy.......There's only one team who wouldn't and guess what?? He's just kicked their collective butts!!!!!!!!!!! Will Poole be in the playoffs?? They still have Swindon twice, Belle Vue and Kings Lynn to ride at home yet and on current form could lose all 4 matches........Changes are needed now to have any hope of staying in the top 4 IMHO.
  7. North's form of late ain't too good either.....He wasn't great against a woeful Lakeside at Poole last week...so who is out there to bring in? Jonasson? Either or both Pawlicki's?? Can see Kings Lynn and Swindon both going above Poole, then it depends on what Belle Vue do....and Poole haven't beaten them once this season yet and still have to ride them home and away....could be 5th place for Poole this year!!!!
  8. Mr Ford has made a big boo boo by not bending over backwards to fit his best rider into the team. Instead he lets him go to a team who will take 11 points off of Poole In three meetings against them. This Poole team will win NOTHING!!!!!!!!
  9. But is Howarth really losing his job as he has two?? He will still be working, so to speak , for Workington.
  10. Middlo was talking about Buster Chapman NOT Rob Lyon.
  11. Newman and North are bang on form.....Looks all over all ready to me!!!!!
  12. Oh dear Holder has Cardiff GPitis......oh sorry he's "ill"...Poole have zero chance of even a point now as Holder scored 17 last time at Lynn.
  13. Quite simply he is letting the team down. If he had scored his 'average' of 4 on Monday at Belle Vue, we would have won not lost. His scores in Poland are just as bad at the moment too!!
  14. Does it really matter where Gomolski rides?? He will still score zero, zip,Nick all, nothing, nought, etc whether he rides at 1,2,3,4,5,6,or7!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. With Millik now riding for KL we have no chance of even getting a point......scoring 30 points will be an achievement!!!!!
  16. On tonight's showing at Belle Vue, this will be a very easy home win for Kings Lynn, with the useless Gomolski not troubling the scorers again!!!!!
  17. Gomolski back on form in Poland today 3+1, to go with his zero last week!!!
  18. Davey crashed in his last ride while guesting for Lakeside on Friday. He was unbeaten until then, but did come out in the re run but came last. The picture he put on Twitter of his cut arm looked very nasty, wouldn't be surprised if he had to have stitches in it.
  19. I think more of a worry would be the crashes that Watt and North had at the weekend. Davey's cut on his arm looked pretty nasty and Dak had a bad crash in his last ride in the GP Quallifier (although he did walk away from it).
