The Robins are getting a bit worried about this one now Mr Schlien is riding as a second string!!

Just one other thing to note from the meeting...................... I Thought the new rule was "no rider is to get off of their bike to do any gardening" ??????? So why was Rory Schlein allowed to do just that before heat 14???? And what is the punishment if/when they do??Should Schlein have been excluded??? Edited to say, just checked the thread about gardening at the start and Schlien should have been excluded!!! Be interesting if Kings Lynn win by 2 points on aggregate!!!!!!

I would have thought Janowski would be in instead of either Pawlicki, especially as he is a GP rider.

European Best pairs 1st round is on Saturday, so presumably Holder and Janowski will be at the official practice on Friday??

Holder,Janowski and Gomolski may all be missing for Poole on the 27th and Starke will be riding for Somerset.........oh dear!!!!

Gomolski is missing at Kings Lynn not Poole.

I seem to recall an early season Challange match at Poole in the early eighties against Hackney, where Hackney No1 Bo Petersen had eight rides and I think he had eight wins, but I may be wrong (might still have the programme somewhere,so may have to try and dig it out) I think the meeting was run over 16 or 18 heats but I'm not too sure, it was a loooonnng time ago now. Edited to say:- I have just found the old programme for this meeting, It took place on the 9th July 1980, It was indeed a Challange match Between Poole and Hackney, It was run over 18 heats with Poole winning 64-44 Bo Petersen didn't have 8 rides............He had a staggering 9 rides!!!! Appearing in half of the heats in the meeting!!!!!! His Score was:- 1,3,3,2,3,ex,3,3,3 = 21 I have a feeling he may have 'won' his 6th ride, but was excluded for having had both wheels over the white line at some point in the race!!!!!!

Didn't Bjarne Pedersen score a 22+1 paid maximum for Poole at Lakeside a few years ago?? It could have been a 24 point maximum but his partner (Matty Ferjan??) was unable to let him pass for the full 6 points in his tactical ride heat so he only scored 4+1????

Think Rohan Tungate is going to struggle with the no gardening off the bike rule..........I see he has asked on twitter if the BSPA are going to provide leg extensions for him

It was at Derwent Park (Workington.....maybe last season ???) The rider is Chris Mills.

100% correct decision ...... Nasty Nut job took Batchelor's leg and clipped his front wheel!!!!!

Only problem with Poole's presenter is he takes to long to introduce the riders and by the time he gets to Darcy Ward the rest of the riders have started their practice lap!!!!

.......and (excuse my language) Bloody adverts ever other race......have given up watching it now as fed up with all the advert breaks,2 minutes of speedway,then 4 minutes of adverts, absolutely ridiculous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darcy Ward seemed grumpy or unhappy all night. Didn't even seem to want to mix with his team mates either, which is unlike him.

I have said the same thing about doing major road works in the autumn/ winter instead of smack bang in the middle of the holiday season, but I think all councils do this just to cause maximum chaos and hold ups!!!!!

Is it just me or are Sky showing much fewer EL matches than usual................There seems to have been quite a few weeks when no match has been shown.......Last week being a prime example, Wolves v Lakeside or Belle Vue v Swindon......Either would have been good viewing for the fans of said teams or the neutrals surely???

Taylor and Marsh were pretty useful home and away too.
