  1. Restage date will be in October in Wolfslake according to a press release.
  2. According to 'someone in the know' on the German forum they had a track/stadium inspection two weeks ago.....
  3. This whole WSL thing stinks from the beginning. Especially with this middle east madness.
  4. Even more funny that the Wolfslake club posted on Facebook 10 mins ago that they are ready for the event. This sport is becoming more and more a joke.
  5. I believe it was in the Polish media some time ago that they will held a junior race a few days before the GP.
  6. The federations tell the riders where they have to go. So this can be much earlier when the complete lineup is released.
  7. I would not be so susprised if this won't go ahead, but we'll see. I think it's all a bit too optimistic from our Polish friends. By the way: I will provide live updates from Wolfslake on the following link: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/145/world-speedway-league-wolfslake.html
  8. I was there, I'm intact doing this Baansport site my results are right
  9. Belle Vue lineup Scott Nicholls Max Fricke Craig Cook Steven Worral Matej Zagar
  10. Enjoyable evening as always in GW been a great weekend with two of the best tracks around.
  11. I realy can't understad these people who think this competiton is pointless. Are all individual open meetings for example also pointless? Enjoy your speedway.....
  12. It's only streaming with phones... don't understand the problem. It's different when people come with professional equipment. For example: what Pedersen his crew did in Wittstock was fantastic imo (streaming his heats with Facebook).
  13. Eastbourne on Facebook: "Live broadcasting won't be permitted. It has been brought to our attention that in recent years many fans like to broadcast our events. Usually via social media streams or periscope. Unfortunately it breaches the rights of British Speedway and our club as a whole. Any users found to be broadcasting our meetings from an unofficial source will be banned from the stadium and legal action could be taken further. We hope you understand our decision. If you have any queries please contact Connor or Martin." Wake up British Speedway, it's 2016....
  14. The ice making machine thing is indeed very old and needs to be renewed. This is very expensive and therefore the whole stadium will be demolished. There will be some sort of a congress building build on the 'Bonte Wever' site. At the moment it's unsure were a new ice stadium will be build. Three plans are in the race for the money from the province (Drenthe): in Assen (near the TT track), in Hoogeveen and in Emmen. Assen seems to have the best cards, and when it all goes ahead then there will be icespeedway in Assen again in 2019. Artificial indeed. There is no chance of a natural icespeedway track in The Netherlands these days.
  15. My mate streamed both Icespeedway GP finals in Almaty and Assen with his iPhone and Periscope... both events were followed with great interest. In Assen the FIM noticed him filming and came to him. No problems at all it seemed despite the filming rights bought by Dorna. They were very interested in it (quality, visitors, etc), and even asked if he was going to Inzell this weekend to do it again. I think Periscope (or the streaming in general) is a great thing for the sport Nicki Pedersen his crew were also streaming his heats in Wittstock last weekend with Facebook. Great to interact with the fans.
