  1. Yes, but does Poland have a trillion league matches per league? Don't think so
  2. You have no clue.... the FIM and FIM Europe meetings have existed for years and provide the riders extra valuable experience as well. One Sport is stepping in and taking speedway league to the next level. What does British speedway do? Yeah giving the riders a headache because of there crazy race schedule. No other country does it like the UK...
  3. U21 will be held over 3 rounds... just like this year. Perfect if you ask me.
  4. Hope the meeting came well across TV last night? Fantastic evening at the MotoArena, with a great athmosphere, although the stadium was not realy crowded. Torun never fails to disappoint. Checkout my photo's here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/750/nicki-pedersen-wint-eerste-ronde-ek-speedway-in-torun.html
  5. One Sport is now the promoter of the U21 as from 2016!
  6. The Hancock statement is up: http://www.greghancock.com/2015/06/17/team-hancock-racing-statement/

  8. My photo's from an epic finale of the SWC here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/744/zweden-verbaasd-vriend-en-vijand-tijdens-de-swc-finale-in-vojens-.html
  9. Looking forward to watch this back tonight For me it was good it was held on the sunday rather then the saturday, so I could go as well haha. Seems like it came across TV just as good as live at the stadium. Great racing and a good atmosphere at the stadium, although after heat 19 it got a little subdued
  10. He was indeed towed from Vilnius to Dauavpils (2.5 hour journey) due to a broken fuel pump. https://www.facebook.com/Lagutaofficial/photos/a.1503720166569025.1073741828.1503694083238300/1599038590370515/?type=1&theater
  11. I think it was more a matter of 'running out of time' then getting a rental van sorted. He broke down in Vilnius and then got towed (?) to Daugavpils (his Mercedes dealer I guess, his van is on LV plates). Daugavpils to Vojens is a 17 hour journey...
  12. Grigory Laguta now posted evidence of his broken down van on his Instagram account: https://instagram.com/p/31CY-7hAz7/?taken-by=grigorii_laguta
  13. The Russian suspension (Sayfutdinov, Laguta 2x, Kulakov, Tarasenko, Borodulin and Chalov) is now official: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=pl&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sportowefakty.pl%2Fzuzel%2F527795%2Foficjalnie-rosjanie-zawieszeni-przez-fim&edit-text= They are suspended untill 14.06.2015 24:00. Grigory Laguta also received an additional 1200 euros fine.
  14. The FIM has suspended the Russians for not competing in the SWC (except Gafurov, Kudrashov and Belousov ofcouse): http://www.przegladsportowy.pl/zuzel/ekstraliga,fim-zawiesza-rosjan-gwiazdorzy-nie-pojada-w-pge-ekstralidze-,artykul,577276,1,984.html
  15. BSI streams all their events on https://livestream.com/SpeedwayGP/
  16. No offense but the Lagutas make enough money to ride these few meetings on their own cost.... Surely riding for your country and possibly winning it is worth it.
  17. German grasstrack sidecar racer Imanuel Schramm will also use a GTR engine this saturday at the Euro sidecar semi final in Loppersum.
  18. Little piece from the BSI press release: "Russia race with just three riders in tonight’s meeting – captain Renat Gafurov, Vitaly Belousov and Andrei Kudriashov. The FIM has been informed that Grigorii Laguta has broken down en route to Vojens in Lithuania and cannot make it to the event in time. Medical certificates have been received for four members of the Russian squad, including Artem Laguta and Emil Sayfutdinov. The FIM is taking this matter very seriously and are investigating the events that have led to this disappointing situation."
  19. Lineup: USA: 1. Gino Manzares, 2. Ryan Fisher, 3. Greg Hancock, 4. Max Ruml. Poland: 1. Maciej Janowski, 2. Przemyslaw Pawlicki, 3. Krzysztof Buszkowski, 4. Bartosz Zmarzlik. Russia: 1. Renat Gafurov, 2. No rider, 3. Vitaly Belousov, 4. Andrei Kudriashov. Great Britain: 1. Daniel King, 2. Tai Woffinden, 3. Robert Lambert, 4. Chris Harris.
