  1. Balakovo wants to stage that qualifier according to Russian media ...
  2. Opole also not taking part in the 2nd division. Bydgoszcz has no money and relies on money from the city, might be taking part in the 2nd division instead of the 1st. On the other side: Poznan is probably back in 2016
  3. I will be there For those who are not in Berlin this weekend: I will provide live updates again: Day 1: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/81/wk-ijsspeedway-teams-berlijn-dag-1.html Day 2: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/82/wk-ijsspeedway-teams-berlijn-dag-2.html
  4. Great article on Sportowefakty.pl about Jamrog his trip, which was the best trip of his life https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=nl&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/503569/to-byl-najlepszy-wyjazd-w-moim-zyciu-rozmowa-z-jakubem-jamrogiem-triumfatorem-im/1&usg=ALkJrhgA9yQjDWJLz8Zm6PxVObECGHVH6g
  5. Think so yeah, but the press release doesn't say.
  6. Both FIM Europe meetings in the Ukraine have been cancelled and will not be run anywhere else. This means there are only two qualifiers for the SEC challange and that the pairs competition only has a final round.
  7. Might be early days but the FIM is worried about the hosts for next year as there is a lack of requests from venues to host a SGP qualifier, same counts for the U21 world championship. (source: last weekends Geneva CCP meeting minutes)
  8. The World championship 1000cc sidecars might be coming back was decided last weekend in Geneva. CCP/FIM will make a survey for all federations to find out if this championship will be restarted in the future.
  9. The venue of round 3 will be announced in the coming weeks according to today's One Sport press release.
  10. Comments from the Russia bloke on Speedway-press.ru: "Overall, I enjoyed in Argentina, I had a good time and I think that is a good preparation for the next season! I know that a lot of fans watching the championship in Argentina and I received many compliments on them! Thank you all for the congratulations and support! See you in Russia!"
  11. From what I've seen on Facebook: happy faces all over from Manev and Beschastnov

  13. Received a press release yesterday (strange day) about the WSL. It will be held on April 25 in Gorzow.
  14. That's right, but he also got some sad news in the paddock (grandfather passed away). Henderson was asked to replace him in Almaty but he declined. No time to drive all the way to Kazakstan and flying (with bike) was not an option financially. Now waiting for confirmation if Nicklas Svensson is up for it.
  15. It is what you call it haha. In Holland and Germany they call it 'ijsspeedway' and 'eisspeedway' which translates to icespeedway. The indoor hockey fun they call in Germany 'speedway on ice'.
  16. I was there and also made a few video's: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/595/speedway-op-ijs-gala-in-torun-.html Was fun, but now in Russia for the real deal :)
  17. Stellingwerf will not ride in the GP's unfortunatly. He will probably be replaced by Antonin Klatovsky.
  18. It's not fair they only gave Antonin Klatovsky the first reserve spot, and then included Weber, Jarf and Stellingwerf which all three scored a lower result then the Czech rider. But I think that Klabo will ride anyway in the first few GP's as I don't think that Koltakov will be ready.
  19. As expected the FIM did not have a backup plan and decide to nominate the lineup. They published it today: 1. Daniil Ivanov (RU) 2. Dimitry Koltakov (RU) 3. Dimitry Khomitsevich (RU) 4. Igor Kononov (RU) 5. Stefan Svensson (SE) 6. Jan Klatovsky (CZ) 7. Günther Bauer (DE) 8. Stefan Pletschacher (DE) 9. Per-Anders Lindström (SE) 10. Franz Zorn (AT) 11. Vitaly Khomitsevich (RU) 12. Hans Weber (DE) 13. Mats Järf (FI) 14. René Stellingwerf (NL) 15. Harald Simon (AT) -- 16. GP wildcard --- 17. GP reserve 18. GP reserve Substitute riders: 19. Antonin Klatovsky (CZ) 20. Daniel Henderson (SE) 21. Niclas Kallin Svensson (SE) 22. Jimmy Olsen (SE) 23. Ove Ledstrom (SE) 24. Max Niedermaier (DE)
  20. The challenge in Sankt Johann is cancelled (third year in a row). The FIM will now determine the riders for this years GP series. Official press release should follow tomorrow I've been told.
  21. Sankt Johann told me that after the weekend they will make the decision if the challenge can go ahead ....
