  1. Check out this photo: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/zdjecia/galeria/7367/upadek-taia-woffindena/9-330119#photo-start The diamond is snapped on a very wierd place imo.
  2. What a great night again at the Best Pairs Despite the crazy weather it was once again a very cool visit to Güstrow. To say we were lucky is a big understatement because I have never seen such threatening clouds in the sky just before the meeting. My photo's here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/672/rusland-sterkste-in-de-storm-van-gustrow.html
  3. I believe only in NZ the riders did not have to pay for accomodations and travels.... the other GP's they have to pay themselves. This is something that Smoli was complaining about a while ago when he was reflecting his GP season.
  4. This years price money is as follows: Winning team = 11.250 euro Second team = 9.000 Third team = 7.500 Fourth team = 6.000 All teams traveling from a foreign country will receive 10.000 euro.
  5. I'm not seeing Covatti on the sub list? It's Peter Kildemand first, then Piotr Pawlicki and Linus Sundstrom.
  6. For the record: this is what One Sport send the press today: "There is still some dust after the inaugural tournament of Speedway Best Pairs Cup in Toruń and the riders have to prepare for the second round, which takes place on the 11th April in German Güstrow. We have already known the official starting list of the tournament. There will be very interesting fight in the first round – the winners of the first round in Toruń, Danes will meet with last year winners, Australians. What is more the hosts, who will ride with the wild card, will present themselves in the first heat. Russians will be their opponents. There were Russian riders who changed their numbers in comparison to the first tournament in Toruń. This time Grigorij Laguta will be leading the pair and European Champion 2014, Emil Sajfutdinow will start with number two. There won't be Jason Doyle in Gustrow because he will be starting in the match of British league this day. He will be replace by Troy Batchelor in the main squad and the reserve will be Dakota North."
  7. Doyle will ride in the UK. Australia will ride with Holder, Batchelor and North.
  8. My photo's from Torun here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/657/denemarken-wint-eerste-ronde-van-de-speedway-best-pairs-cup.html
  9. The official results which I received from One Sport have 3-2-1-0 scores in every heat, also in the final two heats.
  10. There is now also a Poland vs ... meeting in Krosno on the sunday Opponent to be announced soon. Quite a trip from Warsaw on not very smooth roads though, no highway.
  11. Lodz is a nice place! Not seen there racing yet, but had a look at the track last year. After many many roadtrips to Poland we are now flying for the first time to Warsaw from Eindhoven, should be fun Looks like easy transport to the city as well with ModlinBus :)
  12. Official lineup according to todays press release: 1. Andreas Jonsson 2. Tomas H. Jonasson 3. Greg Hancock 4. Gino Manzares 5. Emil Sajfutdinov 6. Grigory Laguta 17. Artem Laguta 7. 13. I was there on sunday; photo's here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/646/dmitry-koltakov-schrijft-ook-laatste-2015-grand-prix-op-z-n-naam-.html Full results from the last GP: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/89/wk-ijsspeedway-gp-10-inzell.html
  14. Poole has withdrawn from this years WSL and therefore Kings Lynn will ride.
  15. The third SEC round will definitely not be in Togliatti according to todays press release, no reason given. On 17.03 it will be anounced where it will be held.
  16. Daugavpils would be good, much better then Balakovo
  17. Austria was soooo close, again! It's such a pity that Simon got excluded on day 1 when he came second but crossed the innerline, otherwise both Russia and Austria ended on equal points. Heat 35 was fantastic! Dima gated with Zorn following, then Simon overtook his countrymen before overtaking both Russians in the last corner, fantastic stuff, the crowd loved it. As Mr Ore said, the young Ledstrom was amazing! 17 years old and not afraid, he'll be a big one in the future. Looking forward to see him again on friday in Assen when he will be defending his Roelof Thijs Bokaal title. I was also very impressed by Hans Weber, especially on day 2 when he was challenging the Russian boys in heat 40! My photo's here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/631/rusland-comfortabel-aan-de-leiding-na-eerste-dag-wk-teams.html http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/632/rusland-wederom-wereld-kampioen-teams-oostenrijk-tweede.html
  18. Balakovo wants to stage that qualifier according to Russian media ...
  19. Opole also not taking part in the 2nd division. Bydgoszcz has no money and relies on money from the city, might be taking part in the 2nd division instead of the 1st. On the other side: Poznan is probably back in 2016
  20. I will be there For those who are not in Berlin this weekend: I will provide live updates again: Day 1: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/81/wk-ijsspeedway-teams-berlijn-dag-1.html Day 2: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/82/wk-ijsspeedway-teams-berlijn-dag-2.html
  21. Great article on Sportowefakty.pl about Jamrog his trip, which was the best trip of his life https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=nl&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/503569/to-byl-najlepszy-wyjazd-w-moim-zyciu-rozmowa-z-jakubem-jamrogiem-triumfatorem-im/1&usg=ALkJrhgA9yQjDWJLz8Zm6PxVObECGHVH6g
