  1. It's worth mentioning that the speedway stadium is a little bit out of town. There is a train stop (Gündlkofen) near enough to the track (30 minute walk). Google maps got the public transport included these days and they are a great help: https://www.google.nl/maps/dir/Munich+Airport,+Nordallee,+Munich,+Germany/G%C3%BCndlkofen,+Duitsland/@48.4563741,11.8886422,11z/data=!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x479e135923da6d45:0xe3c57a853a56cf4b!2m2!1d11.775028!2d48.353662!1m5!1m1!1s0x479e24d365952f4b:0xd3182970d5f40532!2m2!1d12.033642!2d48.526159!3e3?hl=nl

  3. Just got the news that the challenge in Sankt Johann is postponed till 24 january.
  4. Landshut now confirmed as round 2, july 11.
  5. My photo's here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/524/marc-marquez-wint-de-superprestigio-in-barcelona.html
  6. Well what can I say... it was a fantastic event! Great racing and a big crowd, 9000 people according to a press release. Will definitely pop back to Barcelona again next year.
  7. I was a bit misinformed... it turns out that there are 6 permanent countries (Australia, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Sweden, USA). Each round will have a wildcard. Torun - Latvia Gustrow - Germany Esbjerg - TBA Great Britian will not take part, the pathetic BSPA did once again respond with a 'NO' to One Sport, although manager Alun Rossiter wanted to take part. EDIT: Little piece from the press release: "The second change concerns the participants – national teams. “This year we have 6 permanent participants – these are national teams of Australia, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Sweden and the new one USA which is of course led by Greg Hancock. We will also give one wild card per each round – in Toruń the invitation will be given to Latvia, in Gustrow – Germany and the matter of the last participant of the tournament in Esbjerg will be cleared later. It won’t be definitely the national team of the Great Britain – this year we invited Brits again and, although riders and manager Alun Rossiter would like to start, BSPA has informed us that none of British riders will receive permission for starting in Speedway Best Pairs Cup also this season” – added the representatives of the organizer of SBPC."
  8. Best pairs nations: Poland Denmark Sweden Russia Australia Germany USA
  9. Going to Spain this weekend for my first full flattrack meeting. Usually not a big fan of shorttrack/flattrack classes at grasstrack/speedway meetings but this event sounds good, some realy big names in it as well
  10. Yes that's true. Schlein just missed out on qualifying for the challenge with an 8th place in Daugavpils, and Hall ended up with an 10th place in Zarnovica.
  11. Phil Morris is replacing Tony Olsson as FIM race director at the GP's and SWC. Info here: http://www.fim-live.com/en/article/phil-morris-appointed-fim-race-director/
  12. The last 20.000 sold tickets look pretty legit to me, sadly I do not have any info on the first 35.000 tickets. I used my webdeveloper magic to watch the ticket sales every few minutes, based on the available tickets (yes I had nothing to do ). There was no sudden drop in available tickets or something (apart from a 200 VIP ticket drop yesterday afternoon) Let see what happens in the next 24 hours! I can't wait for this GP, will me immense
  13. Keep an eye on the ticket site as well in the next few days, people who payed with bank transfer have 72 hours to pay (according to their twitter page). If no payment came through then the seats will be available again.
  14. Yeah I'll be there for sure, including 4 of my mates Roadtripping to Warsaw and hoping on a big league meeting on the sunday to have a great Polska weekend.
  15. Stadium is near sold out: at the moment there are only 2356 tickets left and 95% are VIP tickets.
  16. 5400 tickets left on the ticket site. 2000 gone in the last hour (!)
  17. If anyone wants to go, get your tickets sorted. Will be sold out tomorrow if it goes like this.
  18. And less then 20.000 tickets left. Tickets are flying out, 400 in the last 10 minutes.
  19. Yeah the FMN order is quite strange in their documents lol
  20. 20.000 sold already https://twitter.com/SGPnarodowy/status/539399084923441153
  21. They do send 1 rider to the U21 Euro's though.
