  1. I was hoping to read the real table but I have seem to stumble across something totally random.
  2. Good performance by the young Brits to get close to the Poles. How come the Swedes, Russians or Aussies were not in this. Wouldn't Holder and Batchelor cleaned up the Poles?
  3. 1 Adams 2 Andersen 3 N Pedersen 4 Jonsson
  4. Depending on his fitness I would say Lindgren will win this but unsure on the rest but I would guess; 1 Lindgren 2 Pedersen 3 Kasprzak 4 Bjerre
  5. I may be wrong but IMO, one of the four riders named below will win it. Kennett Holder Safultdinov Zabik Good luck to Ed and hoping he can be another Poole rider who wins the title.
  6. Quite a few to choose from but I think the winner for me was the final from Linkoping in 99 when Loramski (as a wildcard) passed Trick and had a huge battle with Nilsen for 3 laps before having him on the final bend leaving the whole of Sweden dumbfounded and Millard losing his voice.
  7. Like myself, you were very stupid to do so.
  8. I think I am going to have a little stab at Gollob on win and each way at Ladbokes.
  9. It's just my opinion and I don't mean to be disrespectful but I think every year he rankings bring up unrealistic positions. For example I have read on your site that Tony Rickardsson who has retired is 14th and Jernej Kolenko is ranked higher than Mark Loram and Rory Schlein.
  10. I believe they were there with the Polish doctors all buying rounds of Zywicz for each other at the bar.
  11. I am sure they will all take the blame even Ed, Stead and Allen who are learning will still say sorry. I would like to point out, that yes we were bad but then to the people saying it was pathetic, crap etc I would like to disagree this and then cast their minds back to the 1992??? WC Final held at Coventry where we scored less and got hammered more by the Danes, Swedes and the Americans and we had experienced world class riders and we were on our home track.
  12. Ok, I will use my head. So using your theory, you don't mind then if next year, Poole host the EL Pairs, Riders Championship, KO Cup Final and EL Final just because we have one of the biggest set of supporters in the league.
  13. Your talking rubbish. There are 12 GP's and take away the 5 main nations and you still have 7 locations left plus there are places like Lonigo or Russia that would get good crowds. Maybe next year they could hold it in Germany or the Czech Republic.
  14. Disappointing. Britain may have never have won this meeting, but I really am getting tired of home nations having so much of an advantage by practicing before the meetings. Any other track in the world, would have seen Denmark triumphant and Poland .....with that team, fighting it out with the two other nations. The GB racers lacked the right track for them tonight, but at least they got there, unlike the Swedes, who have fallen away as a nation. BUT, I think it is about time these kind of meetings were held in Germany, Italy, Norway etc not just to make it fairer but give other weaker nations an incentive of making the semis or final.
  15. I will bet he score's more than Stead. Also in the Dorset Echo it says he will be using some new machinery which has been finely tuned by Michael Lee. And to be fair, he has quite a good average in Poland. Any suggestions who else you would put in then??
  16. I think you must be some kind of foreigner on the wind-up who obviously wants a raise by having a go at the best young rider in the country. You have obviously never seen him ride at Poole and instead of spouting out garbage, try encouraging the english lads.
  17. Sweden to get into the final ahead of Poland with Magnus K in for Lindback. I wish buddy.
  18. Top man Neil. I am glad you and the team proved the doubters wrong and I hope you continue to remain the Poole and GB manager for a while.
  19. My hat goes off to you SCB for the apology in doubting Ed, but now you know why us Poole fans think there is great potential. Just don't do it again, all right.
  20. Think you have got slightly lost between realism and optimism. With that team in Poland, we would do amazingly well to beat the Poles and Danes, but I really would love us to win and we are better shout then 10/1.
  21. Nobodies perfect. Anyway, I am sure the odd sceptic would find a mistake with one Sugar tactical and then blame that for the meeting loss instead of the odd point. Besides, if the riders say they are up for it and then under perform, what can you do.
  22. 1000% agree and not a truer word spoken. Middlo has OVER achieved with the riders he has had and nearly every year has had to put up with a rider being injured yet still seems to have got the best out of riders like Norris and got second and thirds when we shouldn't have even made it. Not in a million years should he be dropped but I think he may decide to pack it in when he loses the enthusiasm for it but I can't see it happening for a couple of years. I think he will be aiming for third this year and that would be a great achievement.
  23. Define the difference of mediocre and half decent? Anyway didn't Kennett beat Allen in one race and didn't he fall in the other whilst trying to pass Allen. We just have to agree to disagree but Kennett should definently be in the Poland team if they make it, with which they should and if we we beat Sweden will you stop moaning about Middlo. I would rather King and Bridger over Louis. It's called thinking for the future and I am sure Chris would happily step down.
  24. I bet your glad your not the manager then otherwise your head would have been on a stick by the majority of clued up fans that come on this forum. Chris Louis, Olly Allen and David Howe can only beat half decent riders on their home tracks. Kennett does it in Poland, Wolverhampton, Poole, Eastbourne, Rye House and probably nearly every track in the world except for bloody Coventry but does that mean he should be left out just because he has ridden the track a few times. In my opinion, B00105KS. I would rather Bridger or King than Louis.
