  1. There is a run-off with four riders for positions six to nine at Daugavpils now
  2. How many riders qualify from each of the two semis? Is it the top eigth or are there wild cards reserved for the finals?
  3. We don't get it here in Germany, too. Some time ago the OneSport Speedway Events (SEC and the OneSport Best Pairs) were shown on Eurosport 1 TV in Germany for about a year or two, but then it was shifted to the EUROSPORT Player, and this is were speedway remains. They will rather show some Snooker (even usually always with no German involvement) or replays of Tennis or Cycling, rather than live Speedway. That's nothing new to us. Eurosport (Germany) has not helped Speedway much in recent years. The sport is only ever available to watch at extra cost on the EUROSPORT Player. You will soon realize how good you had it in the past with regular Speedway on Sky and BT Sports.
  4. Yes, indeed, and this might also happen with the SGP and British league speedway on EUROSPORT
  5. "Ice Arena Track Racing Gold Trophy" - that's a mystery ? what is it ?
  6. Great ride by Dudek in heat 13. That 4:2 puts them six points up again. Torun need a couple of 5-1s in the final couple of heats, not likely to happen.
  7. I suggest the introduction of a tactical substituion for useless riders in the SGP series. Tonder could replace Zagar.
  8. Tough for Torun, they have already run out of their tactical substition options and are still trailing by six.
  9. What a dramatic meeting that went to a really thrilling last heat decider. Hard racing all the way, with several incidents. Most scary was this crash in heat 10. Thank God all riders escaped serrious injury. Luke Becker in red pushes Victor Kulakov (yellow) out. He falls and his bike then shots into Aleksandr Loktaev (blue), who takes a hard landing. The fourth rider Szczotka (white) narrowly avoids the pile up.
  10. Zmazlik was twice beaen by Przedpelski, but then got his act together and reeled off a couple of impressive heat wins. Jack Holder went the other way, from very good to not so good in the end.
  11. No, he wasn't. And in fact, not even as a "stand-bye reserve". Grobauer rode for Landshut in the Polish Division 2 on Friday, but not at Pardubice on Saturday. Huckenbeck's replacement for this FIME meeting was the Slovenian Matic Ivacic, and the reserve riders on Saturday were a couple of Czechs, #17 Eduard Krcmar and #18 Hynek Stichauer. Grobauer wasn't there at all.
  12. Thanks, but I am surprised that the place does not go to another German. Wasn't it mentioned somewhere here on the BSF that Brimingham's Valentin Grobauer is over there as a stand-bye reserve, and is therefore missing tonight's championship meeting at Berwick ?
  13. is it this one ? https://www.speedwaylive.org/2021/05/egy-vilagbajnok-is-erkezik-nagyhalaszba.html But I can't find a link to a live up-date for the meeting though maybe one of the Polish websites will have one
  14. They have Jack Holder, who is doing quite well, but other than Lambert and Jack Holder, there is not much.
  15. Norick's uncle is the former national speedway and world long-track champion Tommy Dunker (brother of Norick's mother)
  16. Lodz are unbeaten (2-0) so far in second place in the league table, and Krosno (2-1) are fourth. Could be a good match.
  17. Krosno is simply too strong for Bydgoszcz. Never expected this, I'm impressed. Well deserved home victory.
