i thought he was advocating consistency in the way meetings were run, eg mandatory track grades after a set no. of heats. So why is he out here marshalling riders when there is no such official at the other meetings?
yet more virtue signalling in the absence of new news. let’s hope the photographer had not strayed into an unauthorised area. surely it’s safer to be on the centre green where you have an unobstructed view of the racing
i was hoping to watch the incident back on BSN this morning to see what happened but they haven’t released the stream. I expect there is a good reason for this. Was a terrible meeting up until that point with the home side in particular struggling to get to grips with the track.
inferior quality teams are best served putting their trump card at reserve and then using their tacticals amongst the ‘best of the rest’ to stay in touch, holding the reserve back for the final heats. bit of a stupid format to be honest.
phil morris should be all over this. brings any semblance of respectability the league has into question. if both clubs agree to it then the fixture should be deemed as fulfilled but the points shouldn’t count.
…too little too late is the phrase that springs to mind
if we had any ambition this season then we needed to fork out for a quality replacement months ago
