"There are good people involved with running speedway but there are some that aren't as well," Hawkins added. "Ipswich and Chris Louis have shown what can be achieved and that people do still want to watch speedway, and will back a professional outfit. "There's still potential that the sport can carry on and be great but it needs the right people involved which they're probably not at the moment."

Sheffield were the only team that could have beaten a fully / mostly fit witches side infact I would go so far as saying Sheffield might have been favourites over 2 legs given their late season changes -

I think Edward’s rides better under pressure. Doesn’t panic or make mistakes which I’m not sure you can say about Jenkins who appears a bit more accident prone. Would Jenkins have beaten Becker? I doubt it.
