  1. bridger is too twtichy for the continental tracks. at least king can ride the bike smoothly
  2. any news on the fitness of Tai Woffinden? ah here http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/2591/woffys-gorzow-grit lets hope he doesnt fall off (emil)
  3. who is aljack? he sounds much like the village idiot i suggest aljack starts his own thread rather than constantly hijacking this one with snide comments
  4. doolan has gone to redcar http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.16944 or is this not worthy of a mention, with all the lively debate going on in this thread! i wonder if he was part on a salary and ipswich wanted to offload. ive seen him ride only a few times and he looks woefully slow for a supposed PL heatleader most of thetime.
  5. http://www.portal.bydgoszcz.uw.gov.pl/ws/kam/index_112.php looks ok
  6. just got back from a weekend away looking forward to watching the GP. Been avoiding it all weekend. now find no more repeats. someone make my day and tell me i can pick up a re run somewhere? sky sports speedway point you to the sky player, which has no speedway on it as far as i can see.
  7. half of the tracks in the uk are junior tracks, one of the reasons team gb does not do well on the world stage
  8. rain saves vojens who'd have thought it top class speedway should not be riden on junior tracks
  9. logistics. Joker puts entertainment above pure sport. 1 Reserve should be allowed IMO, perhaps with 1 reserve race with drawn gates to even the gate allocation up. You could argue that no reserves encourages you to fence a rival rider in the early heats. The slick track is certainly a concern entertainment wise but its the same for all teams?
  10. when was the last scottish, welsh or irish rider to represent teab gb?
  11. 4 of team gb's 6 inside gates are in the last 6 races so happy about that. Sweden get 7 inside gates, teab gb 7 outside.
  12. oh well you cant have everything. its on SKYHD4 channel but the Sky icon is not showing hdlive.
  13. great thats my day sorted then, swc in hd on sky 454. going to kings lynn tomorrow as well.
  14. http://www.webcams.travel/webcam/1261993194-Weather-Centrum-Edukacji-Artystycznej-%28CEA%29-Gorz%C3%B3w-Wielkopolski-Gorz%C3%B3w-Wielkopolski this one is time stamped, not sure if the others are updating or not. a big puddle but it looks reasonably bright with no evidence of rain falling (this cam had spots of rain on it yesterday).
  15. hans was clearly the prime cause of the stoppage, knocking into harris on his way through and forcing him off.
  16. wildcards are exactly that, wildcards. should the places have been given on merit then 5 riders should have qualified tonight, or from some similar series of meetings. on the basis that 2 wildcards is the chosen selection criteria then riders with the ability to best enhance the gp spectacle should be selected. i'd much rather see a zagar or lindback mixing it up than rico trailing round at the back. it seems rather unfair for a brit to be selected on the basis that none can get there on merit.
  17. lindback + zagar should get the wildcards on ability (also entertainment). can't get excited by rico in the gp's. why have a permanent brit if none can really compete with the big boys?
  18. i don't disagree. the point i am trying to make is that nicki would have won the heat had he ridden sensibly. instead he charges into the corner giving emil and the ref the chance to exclude him. the hothead only has himself to blame. perhaps he didn't have a sufficient fanning to calm him down before the final!
  19. pedersen could have turned left far sooner than he did and left emil more room but he decided to go into the corner mid track. he gave the ref an opportunity to make a decision and the rest is history. i think he was more angry with himself than anyone else.
