He was on fire the first few meetings at foxhall barging his way past opponents with ease. It’s a mystery how he is now mr inconsistent. I’d be reluctant to drop him given the lack of genuine heat leader replacements. Also it might dent team morale if the incoming rider wasn’t as experienced.

Gavan is one of the more eccentric Ipswich posters and doesn’t appear to have the same wise sense than his fellow Suffolk folk as far as I can tell.

That was his first look at the place. Kennett won’t have ridden it. At least Bellego has had some premiership track experience. I hope this works out but by no means see it as a no brainer

You would still replace Lawson would you given recent form? Or is it bomber?

I’m not sure about this. Kennett had a golden year then his bike was found to be turbo charged if I remember correctly. id prefer Bellego over Kennett in a 2 leg tie against Belle Vue or Swindon.

looks like wall to wall sunshine on the weather forecast today. I wonder how this will impact track preparation, Manchester not being known for the stuff. Its the only hope the Witches have got in my view, that the track is a bit different.

I’ve seen a lot worse meetings at foxhall. Kings lynn was close with limited passing. Poole seems like there was more overtaking but was always a home win. Maybe your expectations are too much. What leisure activities do you see as good VFM and comparable to the thrill of speedway? Just out of interest...

The outside gates are an absolute graveyard at monmore, especially early on. Bellego had gates 3 and 4 first up and was then replaced in his 3rd ride so likely by the time it came to his mandatory third ride he probably wasn’t feeling it. That said I agree with other posters that he looks out of his depth on the smaller circuits. Both him and Lawson need to go if we want to compete. The pole and King both looked ok tonight.

Wolves were there for the taking tonight but the witches threw it away. Gifted an early lead they could not hold their nerve when put under the slightest pressure. Adams didn’t look a gift horse in the mouth by bring in masters as an early tactical in heat 5 which allowed the remaining rr rides to be filled without having to call upon the reserves. Hawkins use of heeps in heat 10 rather than Allen was somewhat mystifying as it meant he couldn’t go in ht14. All in all a massively disappointing night for the witches who could easily have run wolves very close.
