Well done to the Ipswich management who were not afraid this year to make changes, which on balance has given us a fighting chance against the top sides.

It was good box office if nothing else. Building the team bottom up is maybe paying dividends after all. -

On a serious note. If it does get called off after heat 10 with the witches 8pts up I assume it’s just hard luck. -

If the meeting is curtailed at heat 10 maybe they should just use the first 10 heats from both legs to calculate the aggregate score -
Poole v Ipswich Play Off Semi 1st leg. 23/9/19

king, iversen and harris can all win heats at wimborne road but will they get the back up to keep it close? heeps will need to raise his game as anything more than a 10pt lead will be hard to pull back -
Swindon v Belle Vue Premiership Cup Final 2nd. Leg
chun replied to Ovalman's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
will need some careful watering of the track what with the endless sun today -
Hopefully the witches can use their broomsticks in this final heat to avoid the moguls and stay injury free for the playoffs
-
Did the moguls on bends 1&2 take his chain off.
-
Witches don’t have anything to gain from winning. Might as well give all riders more track time and lull pirates into a false sense of security
-
It looks as though his form has tailed off at no 2 . He would at least be in the points at home for Ipswich I would expect. Maybe it’s an option we will weigh up if sarjeant flunks
-
I see drew kemp has been dropped by Sheffield. Wouldn’t he be a better bet at reserve than sarjeant

Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.

Kennett launched himself headlong into Cook early on in the brawl. He was in red and saw red. -

deplorable? really. bit disingenuous to claim he knew nothing of the incident i feel. Either that or he buries himself in sand between ipswich meetings -
Kennett might be in as much trouble as cook. The steward appears to be trying to usher cook away from the pit gate but is confrontational in the process. Why does he stand his ground rather than run alongside the bike? I can see both clubs being reprimanded given the number of people getting involved.

In hindsight we should have gone for Nicholls when he was dropped by wolves but at the time bomber was in the middle of a purple patch. He seemed to have the track sussed early on with some impressive passes riding lines no one else was but now he seems to struggle to overtake opposition reserves.
-
I fear that Harris could be in terminal decline. The bad meetings are started to heavily outweigh the good ones. Come the end of the season he will need to reel off several good meetings in a row otherwise Ipswich will struggle.
-
Looks like the incoming showers are now petering out thankfully. Having the pole at reserve for Ipswich could be a big plus as we move into the final stretch of the regular season.
-
Looks like the showers are pepping up and moving in a band from the north west. Not expected to be around by teatime. If anything could assist with track preparation?

Poole v Ipswich. Prem. 18th July 2019
chun replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Feels a bit like Poole are running scared of the witches. They think they should beat us but know on our day we could easily take them over 2 legs... -
Pressure on Swindon then. I wonder if its an unnecessary gamble bringing back Musielak for Bellego? Time for Nick Morris to step up on Thursday.
-
Is this result season ending for wolves? More points forfeited at home
-
Wolves have the biggest home track advantage in the league which should see them to a comfortable 10 point victory
