  1. I agree. If the former British champion doesn't make the top eight, that's him out of the GPs. Zagar qualified by right for this season and surely deserves a second chance. After all, how many chances has the former British champion had?
  2. No, his biggest problem is he's just not good enough - stop with the pathetic excuses about a lack of speed, poor luck, time of the month; it's a lack of talent that's the problem.
  3. He gets to tell the world, via Steve Brandon, that the former British champion is struggling to get the set-up right, again and again and again.
  4. Why? The top three in the standings all on GMs. Leigh Adams having his best GP season after switching from Jawa to GMs. Tomasz Gollob even ditching his faithful Bydgoszcz Jawa last Saturday. He'd be better off ditching Havelock, if you ask me.
  5. Doesn't seem to be something either of your heroes has managed to master, does it? But let's look at some of your comments before you became a Bee: You have this rated as "More classic Gollob": And this little clip of Gollob sticking his back wheel on the bouncy castle and giving it a handful has you stating "Gollob at his very best": And this one has you saying "Classic Tomasz Gollob. Class": I've looked and looked, but can't seem to find many clips posted by your good self showing the former British champion displaying such majesty. You see, there was a time when you recognised the difference between genius and mediocrity.
  6. And once again young Gollob illustrates his unmatched, unadulterated and untainted genius - I repeat, there's more talent in a clipping off his little fingernail than the former British champion has in his whole being. The untalented are always caught out by Bydgoszcz.
  7. Not surprising, really. You need skill and finese to master Bydgoszcz - just trying to throw your weight around doesn't get you very far.
  8. Even Sky seem to have given up on the former British champion anyway, since their commentator kept questioning whether Nicholls should be allowed another nomination.
  9. I disagree. Andersen's exclusion was bang on. The kerbs at Bydgoszcz aren't as forgiving as the kerbs at the EoES - Andersen tried to get an advantage by going over the kerb, but it caught him out and he lost control. He had to go. There's a general air of desperation over some of Andersen's riding at the minute in the GPs - he tried to smash Gollob into the fence in a later heat, but Gollob was far too good for him.

  11. And the excuses start - it's never that he's just not good enough on the night, is it? There's always a ready made list of excuses to be trotted out to excuse another dismal failure from the former British champion. Anyway, another sizzling performance from the great man to take his eleventh GP win, which is eleven more than the former British champion has and will probably ever have.
  12. Well, the former British champion really gave a dominating performance at Bydgoszcz tonight, didn't he?
  13. Maybe Adams is a little reserved, but I find him to be an engaging fellow when he's interviewed - he's even stopped mentioning "A" finals these days.
  14. I've never seen Adams ride quite like he has in the GPs this season - ordinarily, I'd agree that he isn't the most thrilling rider, but this season some of his riding has been captivating. And no one seems to get interviewed as often as Adams intra-GP - seems to get interviewed after every four heats.
  15. BP will not get a Nomination if he fails here. And nor should he, since he's been pathetic in the GPs this season.
  16. I suspect that is the nightmare scenario for the FIM and IMG, but, of course, on an Olsen special at Vojens it is entirely possible. A clean sweep for the Danes, would mean five Danes in the SGP next season and that would narrow the scope when it comes to Nominations. As you suggest, I believe Kasprzak and Lindgren are almost certainly destined for the SGP next season, but I rather think the powers that be would prefer them to make it via Vojens. If they don't, expect fun and frollicks to surround the Nominations. It doesn't look like Jonsson, Hampel and Zagar are going to be top eight in the SGP this season, while the former British champion (and the current British champion) could yet slip out of the top eight. Personally, I'm hoping that Gafurov can put on a good showing and claim one of the positions, but I think the ideal scenario for the FIM and IMG would be a top three of Lindgren, Kasprzak and one of the Danes.

  19. Zagar needs to have a good long think about his career - at the minute it's heading down the same road as Lindback's. Talented, yes, but attitude isn't what it needs to be - I'll not shed any tears if he's kicked out of the series next season. And Andersen? Well, I'm not a huge fan of Andersen's, but he's comfortably inside the top eight and unlike the former British champion he knows what it is to be kicked out for under-performing.
  20. Magnificent performance from the former British champion in Poland today - stunning.
  21. But he didn't. He went into Bydgoszcz knowing what he needed to do to qualify, but he flopped and failed.
  22. So, you've visited the parallel universe in which the former British champion didn't break his collarbone and didn't miss a GP and can assure us that he would've qualified on merit, have you? Thought not, so give over with the nonsense that he'd have made it but for injury, it doesn't stand up to scrutiny. You're busily harping on about that, but if (and it's a big "if") he manages to finish eighth this time around, will you be on here saying he only made it because Hampel missed a couple of rounds? No, you'll be on here banging on about how great it is that he made the top eight and screaming for me to recognise the fact.
  23. You earn respect, it's not something you have a right to. And I have no respect for someone who comes out with big, bold, brave words after winning a Mickey Mouse event to the effect that if he can't qualify on merit for the GPs it'll mean he shouldn't be there and promptly forgets those words as soon as he fails AGAIN.
