Middlo Is Another Sven
Subedei replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well, I guess that would mean call-ups for Chris Louis and Daniel King. So the good - and not so good - people of Suffolk would be happy. -
Gp Semi,s July 8-9
Subedei replied to GARY POPPS's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nicholls has already said himself that if he doesn't qualify as of right this time he shouldn't get another entry. If he's offered one, I hope he's the integrity to turn it down. -

Surely Pavlic has 8 as well? Two wins and a second. -

Might be an interval after Ht 12. That seems reasonable. -
Middlo Is Another Sven

Ronnie Russell as team manager. Dear me, if Middlo is Eriksson, Ronnie would surely be Graham Taylor. However, I do see peoples point. Last season we weren't racing the final in the UK and hadn't a chance of winning, so giving the youngsters their head last season was an ideal opportunity. But it was wasted. -
Middlo Is Another Sven
Subedei replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
And what little effort was put in, i.e. the graded reserves in the PL, was compromised as soon as the majority discovered that a minority (Rye House and Mildenhall) were gaining an advantage from it. No effort whatsoever to try and replicate Rye House's advantage in future years, just a self-interested drive to eradicate their advantage this season. It's shameful. But, in fairness, Middlo is manager of a club that has done as much as anyone to promote your nameless foreigners. -

Can't disagree with much of that. But I'd dispute how effective Middlo has been at club level - surely the successes at Poole were largely down to some shrewd team building by Ford and Golding. -
I have sent you a PM young fellow, but for anyone else out there interested, I believe the first item under "POLECAMY" on the following link is what you're looking for: http://www.tv9.pl

Good to see the advancing years aren't mellowing you. -
Take a look at Champion's comments regarding Marcin Rempala - if Gollob doesn't perform he runs the same risks as anyone else. His brother has been regularly replaced this season and as everyone knows the family Gollob is very close.

I'm guessing that Australia will have Wiltshire back in harness, which makes them a whole lot tougher. A squad of Crump, Adams, Sullivan, Schlein, Shields and Wiltshire looks rather impressive. -

And if Nicholls has a single shred of integrity, he'll turn it down. After all, Nicholls has been quoted as saying: "If I'm not in the top eight at the end of the season, it means I haven't done my work...I've had long enough in the GPs now and if I don't get into the top eight by riding well enough, then I don't deserve to be there." -
Nicholls was replaced in his final three programmed rides because of his failure to score in Ht 4 as far as I'm aware. That's why the Poles have the No 8 (16) - to replace underperforming riders. It's an awfully long way to travel for one ride.

2006 Grand Prix Competition
Subedei replied to Steve Turner's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
And I, with a heavy heart, am considering abandoning Tomasz Gollob. -
Possibly, but I still think that there'd always be someone in the field who just simply wanted it more than Adams.

Ashworth Over Looked Why ?
Subedei replied to Phoenix Nights's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well, that's certainly a novel approach - all the other teams will have five riders. -
Yes, I think you've got an answer of 5 there.
-
This should be the last meeting held in the Parken stadium, Copenhagen - the track was nothing short of disgraceful and the meeting awful. As to the riders: Matej ZAGAR - did nothing of note. Lee RICHARDSON - did reasonably well on a lottery of a track. Tony RICKARDSSON - doesn't appear remotely interested. Jaroslaw HAMPEL - couldn't cope with conditions. Antonio LINDBACK - a very creditable performance. Nicki PEDERSEN - out of sorts. Piotr PROTASIEWICZ - might as well have not been there. Scott NICHOLLS - made the semis and then flopped, per usual. Andreas JONSSON - the luck wasn't with him tonight, but he tried. Tomasz GOLLOB - made little, or no attempt to cope with conditions. Niels Kristian IVERSEN - battled away gamely. Jason CRUMP - always in the thick of the action. Leigh ADAMS - just doesn't seem to want it enough. Greg HANCOCK - another fine showing from Hancock, until the semi. Bjarne PEDERSEN - his best GP performance of the season. Hans ANDERSEN - wanted it more than anyone else.

I imagine that if you keep an eye on sportowefakty.pl, a gallery will appear in due course. Usually takes a few days, but they generally appear: http://www.sportowefakty.pl Click on "zuzel" and then look down the right hand side of the page - about half way down, you'll see "galeria" and a list of fixtures. It'll appear there.
