Perhaps Birks is pencilled in for the job?
-
Proctor and who? There's not many points left if you include Proctor into the mix
-
In fairness, I don't think that he was brought into the team for that reason. A fit Sissis would probably have seen this move not happening...... Anybody on a 4 point average is a bit of a gamble anyway. Who would you have put in?
-
So we stand with (assuming Simon is to be No1):- 1. Stead 10.41 2. Bates 5.58 5.41 3. Garrity 8.46 4. 5. 6. Hall 4.04 7. Greaves 3.00 Total 31.49 31.32 - Available 11.01 11.18 So what's the permutations for the last 2 places? Bellego (5.98) +5.03 5.20..... Sarjeant/Aspegren?? Not sure of any reductions in averages to make the available points different to what I calculated - now edited showing deductions
-
Same could be said for Proctor...
-
See Taylor Poole is Scunthorpe bound subject to state qualification
-
I know I do wish for next year that they pull out some fixture fillers (Top Gun / Yorkshire Open or something) to keep the continuity going

New rider being announced tonight

I'm sure the Yorkshire Tigers will be more than up for it. Just need a master stroke of a guest for Steady. -
Sheffield Vs Somerset Pl 23/04/2015
DAVEK replied to Tigerish's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Cook did what was asked if him. Garrity pulled in the points which was not bad for his first meeting. Andre pulled it out of the bag in heat 15. But where oh where where Ash and Josh????? Sorry to say that the team couldn't cover their poor contribution tonight. Hope this is a blip and they come back fighting on Saturday.......... Mightily disappointed ... -
As per the website:- Garrity comes in as cover for Bellego who has a hip injury and they have booked Craig Cook to cover for Stead against Somerset.
-
Nigel Pearson says we are close to announcing short term replacement for Thursday's meeting. Presumably for David as Cook is lined up for Stead.

BBC forecast looks promising.. -
Really don't want to see Hall in the team if i'm honest. According to the Panthers supporters, he would struggle to hold down a NL berth Would like to see Proctor and Ben in the team if possible. So many permutations that I can't see which way it will end up....
-
From what I can see, he has not signed for Swindon. He is just a Swindon asset and as such can really dictate (to some extent) where he wants to ride. If he does'nt want to ride for Swindon, they cant really force him.
-
Apology???? Best thing they did, by all accounts (apart from buying the club that is).
-
Check the Scunny site. One or two on there don't expect to see Birks in the team next year...... We could enter two teams next year at this rate
-
They did mention that they were pursuing the full transfer of Taylor Poole from Peterborough (I think), but it had been put on the back burner due to the injury..
-
Correct - nothing at all announced regarding the line up for next season. I got the feeling that Taylor Poole will not figure in the starting line up for 2015, but would figure at some point in the year once he recovers from his injury. Management rider of the season - Steady Supporters rider of the season - Taylor Supporters of the year - The Tigers on Tour group I also get the feeling that there are plenty of permutations on offer to Sheffield for team building next year. Just need to wait for the conferences to decide the format for 2015. Its a case of watch this space, for the moment anyway...

And even more points lost away from home with trying
-
Leigh's average for the season unfortunately tells the story. And certainly a no-no on the Hall front from me
-
I think Covatti is a steal on 4.21 How about Steady - 9.96 Covatti - 4.21 Poole - 6.05 Wilson - 5.03 Bates - 3.53 Proctor - 6.27 Wolbert - 6.19 Total 41.24 Certainly 6 riders in there that could increase there starting average
