Why is it such a closed shop though and can’t promotors be actively open about that?
-
And I’m saying I disagree in part - that injury to Pickering came at the worst time imaginable just as Jakobsen moved into the main body of the side. They went from Jakobsen, to Pickering to Simon Lambert guesting the first week. That is unfortunate timing and bad luck.
-
I never really understand this though - it’s a bit of a well known ‘secret’ so why not come out and say we have signed Tarasenko but just waiting on approval? It makes them look silly by just saying nothing and then when the announcement comes it’s already a huge anti climax as everybody knows.

I would suggest that Kings Lynn losing Josh Pickering about a day after averages changed meaning he went to reserve, due to injury whilst riding for Edinburgh, is pretty unlucky and unfortunate!

SGP and SGP 2 qualifying round nominations
Najjer replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
As per norm, that’s well summarised - Nilsson went through 3 qualifying meetings (at least, as not sure he had to do a Swedish qualifier too so possibly 4) so was well deserving of his position. This is probably the reason why the GP challenge has been moved away from a UK track. -
In fairness, in this instance, he is right - it costs for your child to be in what is called wrap around care at ‘breakfast’ or ‘after school club’ before and after school… although I feel like we might be going slightly off topic here.

Ritchie Hawkins had the best one I can remember seeing - “Monge Tout”
-
If that’s true, then that’s massive - Tarasenko is a super talented rider and is superb on the big open tracks. A real showman and all action rider. He’ll be a great signing and well worth watching

Sheffield v King’s Lynn - 25th May

ill - although I would bet my house on him making a miracle recovery against all doctor’s orders to take his place in the Krosno team at Wroclaw tomorrow night -

I said the other day, Krakowiak or Tonder would make superb signings for one of the big track clubs in this league. -
Yeah exactly, unless you’ve been down and cleaned the air fence and toilets then shut up, keep your opinion to yourself! Fans ey… who’d have them?
-
I bet you’re fun at a party
-
All well and good… Except he’s currently on the sidelines with some broken bones

Two riders I’ve often thought would be great at the bigger UK tracks is Norbert Krakowiak and Mateusz Tonder. Both good gaters and could well be looking for a UK spot - Krakowiak especially as he’s not getting many starts at all in Sweden. Klindt is such a bizarre rider, much like KK. I don’t know how you go from scoring 15 in Poland to struggling to score 1 point at Peterborough the following night. He is such a confidence rider and must be all in his head as he is usually on great equipment. You still live in hope that one day he will just it on but the season is too short for that.
-
Just curious, how did you break even on Emil? I understand covering the exact score or tie on a handicap at a large odds of 10/1, but he was 9/2 on the exact score and 8/13 for over. You must of been laying quite a lot to break even for very little profit if it actually came in?

I fancy Kings Lynn to win this one. A lot depends on Bewley and Brennan

Leicester +4 Kings Lynn +4

On Facebook now in his bio he just says he’s the club sponsor at Peterborough now. Interesting that even on his page he was Peterborough mad at the start of the season by the looks of it and very little of late.

Just spent 10 minutes entertaining myself reading through the Peterborough Facebook page and seeing comments from Allitt and Tomalin making a prat of themselves. They really have morphed into the new Banter speedway club. Hilarious but sad at the same time. Some of the best comments are people talking about signing Holder as no.1 still when he’s currently sidelined with broken bones.

Michelson over Fricke Lambert over Janowski Lindgren under 11 That is my tips for tonight

This is it in a nutshell - and if the damage was that bad, let’s see some pictures??
