  1. Perfect - should give him good form when they decide to get rid of super heats in the event of a draw and flip a coin instead.
  2. Not quite sure you can say he beat Zmarzlik in a run off - they flipped a coin to decide 2nd/3rd after tying on points
  3. I hope you don’t play the lottery. Bellego is at no.2 and Howarth at no.4
  4. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this team gets on. Bet365 have them favourites to come bottom but I can’t see it. A few question marks over how good KK will be and whether Klindt can continue his UK form on but I think there is huge potential with this side.
  5. It doesn’t matter what position you ride at, you have a ride off each starting position anyway. The only difference is between home and away, which order you get the inside and outside.
  6. Good news out of Poland today is that Emil Sayfutdinov has passed his Polish License exam, so is all cleared to return to action now.
  7. I think you are spot on. I expect him to do really well in the Premiership too. ———— As some others have said now, Rew rides for Gdansk in Poland in 2023. They will ride on Saturdays and Sundays mostly I believe.
  8. With his commitments in Poland, he’s bound to miss a large handful of matches over here.
  9. Are you seriously moaning about 45 seconds being wasted?
  10. Guessing you haven’t watched him in Poland over the last few years then?
  11. This is bang on. Someone made reference to a visa taking 8 weeks - I don’t think the visa process only just began yesterday somehow
  12. It has been said Ipswich started talking to Emil in November - at which point it wasn’t clear if Laguta would be available, whilst it was much more likely that Emil would be given his greater length of time as a Polish citizen.
  13. Because teams get more social media and news coverage by announcing riders individually that joint together usually. Especially given this one, I think Hume may of been overshadowed by Sayfutdinov somewhat.
  14. …..just not in heat 15 if the pressure is on
  15. What an ignorant post. I could understand if they announced the signing of Putin but this is a little bit different. Just because he is Russian does not mean he should be tarred with the same brush. What a fantastic signing for Ipswich and great news for British Speedway.
  16. This is legit the best post I’ve ever seen on this forum
  17. Jeeez they’ve secured the stand out performer for the last 5 years or more of British Speedway in Jason Doyle, Kenyan Rew who was highly sort after and I think will end up with over a 6pt average at least as he is that good…. And potentially pulled a blinder in getting Emil…. But you want them to push the boat out? Most people would give their right arm to have those 3 names on the team sheet. You could have the final 4 as 4 clones of Travis McGowan and I’d still be demanding they take my money now to see the other 3 on a regular basis!
  18. No I meant Grigori - the poster before me who I had quoted said “Emil and both Lagutas” which isn’t correct. Grigori has not applied for Polish citizenship or a license.
  19. Just for reference too, Grigori Laguta hasn’t claimed Polish citizenship. After his comments made at the beginning of the war, I think hell is likely to freeze over before he gains Polish citizenship! He does however have Latvian citizenship I believe.
  20. It isn’t, which is why I said in a previous post that Chapman/Peterborough end up looking just as bad, if not worse - meaning there isn’t really a winner in all of this 5 month drawn out affair.
  21. This thread is full of “I know more than you know” people isn’t it? But won’t actually say what they mean….
  22. He ends up looking like a d!ck because instead of a well worded statement, he’s sabotaged the launch of the new team colours out of spite and comes across as totally unprofessional. He’s got every right to feel aggrieved but have some respect. I never really liked Holder when he was at world champion standard but have grown to quite like him over the last couple of seasons in Poland - but you see things like this and remember why I disliked him before.
  23. The club would be the ones splashing out on a race suit - especially given it’s completely dropped the red element of the usual Panthers design to incorporate all the purple of Tomalin’s company. It’s a pretty sorry mess and the typical scenario where nobody really wins. Chapman ends up looking like a d!ck, Holder ends up looking like a d!ck and left without a British side. Nobody really wins. On the flip side I hope Pedersen comes in to replace him as regards of what some have said and his injuries he is absolute box office.
  24. Interesting that you have a total of 16 posts and the vast majority are about confirming both Sayfutdinov and Pedersen for Ipswich and Peterborough… Hmmmmm
