With Atkins now officially retired, Roynon signed as an temporary injury replacement, what options remain for the rest of the season at number 7? Doesn't seem to be anything obvious available. Poole a shoe in for the play off final, the other spot is up for grabs and the right man at 7 could be the difference. Once there, anything can happen.

A team nearly 8 points under the limit again goes to a last heat decider for the bonus, fair effort. -

If Oxford can reach 40 anywhere away from home for the rest of the season, they will have done well. -
A team nearly 8 points under the limit goes close to the bonus, fair effort. Just think what we could have done. Maybe next year
-
I've always said can't be money related, must have decided as they cannot get anybody to come over, give Luke a chance now with a view to next season, absolutely no chance we can win the play offs regardless without a new top rider so that 's it. Just leaves us extremely weak for the last few meetings.
-
With Oxford making every effort to avoid the play offs, an easy home win on the cards for me
-
But we are so far under the limit, you can replace Kemp with Zmarzlik , no need to put yourself 7/8 points under the limit.
-
With all the team de strengthening we have been doing, Harris can easily be replaced by somebody from the NDL
-
This is after an earlier downgrade, Riss for Klindt, completely embarrassing. Our starting Championship reserves are now our Premiership reserves
-
Embarrassing. We must be so far under the limit it's a record. If we had tried to start the season with this team, it would not be allowed.

With the way the NDL is set up at present, not sure Cairns will learn much from the handful of meetings it would offer. Looked in complete control of the bike at all times, impressive stuff with other riders having trouble on occasions. Though depends when he turns 16 no doubt. Obviously will have the pick of all the teams in the Championship next season. -
Was my thinking that at reserve, surely Starke will be worth more than Roynan. Unless an untried/unknown rider could come in.
-
Would Starke be an improvement on Roynon? Any improvement, however small has to be looked at surely.

Kerr 4 + 1 from 10 rides, team is hardly going to be any weaker. He gets no luck with injury, could have been so much different, but this may well be best for both rider and team.
-
Crikey, if Oxford are struggling cash wise then everybody else must be, crowds are very good in Premiership, decent sponsorship. Championship levels seem slightly down but still more than most other tracks and Chargers crowds very good. Will be very revealing when the time comes to declare for next season.
-
Surely there has to be another change on the way.
-
Kerr and Riss both fail to beat an opponent again last night. No chance we finish 4th with this line up, scrambling over the line at home and regular 10-20 pt defeats away means no bonus points. I can see two home defeats next week against Sheffield and Ipswich, season over. It doesn't even need GP standard riders, experienced riders who have ridden here before like Thorsell/Lahti/Pawlicki/Woryna would be an improvement or go the other way with a youngster with a view to next season. Having had spare points for so long, it appears from the outside like a can't be bothered scenario, that's never really looked the case since our return to the sport. Maybe they are/have been looking, I'm not suggesting it's easy.
