  1. Cook was there for anyone to sign, maybe if they asked. So good on Glasgow for showing the ambition to try and win, it's better than rr and guests for half a season or more.
  2. Wonder if Nathan managed to get the massif trophy to anyone to bring down. It's nearly time for it to find a new home.
  3. Not for me...I don't have any...so they have a choice ...I will go once for 16 or they could say charge me a bit more for both meetings. Depends if they want extra money from me..and I'm probably not the only one.. Oh and a fair few also go to Mildenhall...could they afford Thursday Saturday and Sunday?
  4. Someone one said to me earlier ...it would be good if they done a deal..both Thursday and Saturday for say 20 or 25 quid, as not all of us have plenty of dosh waiting to be used up.
  5. With rumours of only 2 divisions next season...the scorpions maybe in the top flight...or would you prefer conference?
  6. Great race and great race track...but the fans still are not flocking back to watch at belle vue...so just shows me that speedway as we know it will soon be a thing of the past.
  7. I just don't get that you are basically charged more for the races you don't see. Like I put on another thread...if only one race is completed you only get a 9 quid discount next time....and at 16 to get in that on race cost you 7 quid. Totally bonkers. Oh and i didn't go to ipswich Thursday cos I just knew I would get mugged off, just like I was a couple of weeks before. I now have a policy that if it's been raining or there is a prospect of rain I won't be going. I'm no longer willing to lose an hours pay at work and the travel costs cos I don't live in Ipswich and lose money on what I might or might not see.
  8. I don't like your attitude young man....you have never been there..done it or got the t shirt. I've told you before..shut up pay up and stop questioning things.
  9. Any idea of how many teams that would be??? Hopefully as many as possible, somewhere between 16 to 20 would be good...with speedway every week during the season..
  10. No one knew before the fixtures were planned that this was going to be the hottest driest summer on record..and i guess going by history August's weather is normally pretty good...and with school break up its probably usually the most lucrative month to hold speedway meetings...unfortunately it didn't work out that way....but hey..hindsight is a wonderful thing
  11. How would you know??? Can you do better?? Let's see you at number 1 for the witches next season You know nothing.
  12. When you say races..do you mean riders trying to stay on in a few of them?
  13. But however you want to rose tint it...you are mugged off for turning up to a cancelled meeting, the worst scenario the one I put.
  14. So if one race is raced you get a 9 pound off next meeting...so that race cost you 7 pound ...wow just wow. Big thanks to Rory and cook for not giving it a go the other week. Saved us all a lot of money
  15. So why would anyone bother going when threat of rain? That's an even worse refund policy. So it's normally 1.07 a heat, but if you are silly enough to go when it's a threat of rain and called off...you then get the pleasure of paying 1.33 per heat. Wow. That's why I stayed home
  16. Cos if it's the way in the report...then would be 16 quid then 10 quid...so 26 pound...that doesn't seem right. Must be 9 pound off surely. Easy option...get a full refund...then pay 16 next time. What you would expect though..is a professional sports team to know their refund policy?????? Or is that too much to ask?
  17. Tough decision to make...hate it when it's like this
  18. Hoping for a nice peaceful evening..cos those massif boys do my swede in.
  19. A couple of things about how good drew is for his age and experience is the fact that he can ride inside and outside..and what's most impressive to me is he puts the bike where he wants it to go...a lot of young riders are just basically hanging on and go where the bike wants to go. Just look at the bike control difference between Drew and Danyon for example. I honestly believe he could be one of...if not the best British rider of all time, it's staggering how good he is already after such a short time racing. I'm just hoping he doesn't outgrow the witches as soon as I think he could.
  20. If she has seen it she probably thinks it's now Bacons fault knowing her.
