So worky had all meetings arranged...then they were told to cancel those meetings and re arrange, think that's a bit off if they are not given extra time.
-
They are all must win now, and we still need more away points or hope another team drops a couple.

Peterborough v Ipswich Sunday 5th August
Baldyman replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I don't mind the the truth...his name is Leigh Lanham. As for what you lot are going on about, you still remember it, we need more things in speedway that people will remember 20 odd years down the line. The sport needs a good punch up or fencing to get people talking. -

Nothing like dragging up the past...I thought it was Leigh Lanham that didn't come out for that race though -

I was just about to mention doyle, another dirty rider. -

I'm saying nicki is always fencing people but never gets a ban. And we know he does it deliberately -

And nicki doesn't? He always fencing people. -
I was wondering how long it would take someone to mention that or the changing room heater.

Tough one against Glasgow now the have a grand prix rider. Don't see many of them at Foxhall over the past few years. And we all know just how good he can be at Foxhall, I still think we have enough in the tank to beat them though.
-
Surely they will just give Harvey another meeting? At least I will get to see him in his first meeting at Workington, will be interesting to see how he takes to a big fast track like that, and possibly up against other reserves like Bach or whoever it is at the time.
-
Now normally I would say witches to hit 60, but with Jakobsen at reserve the bandits should be slightly better, so witches to get 58.

Oystercard also threw himself at the fence in that accident..so I doubt he meant to purposely do it, although he did mean to stop nico run around him, and got it wrong. Oystercard does seem to like blocking runs without leaving his opponent racing room, but as most riders say..what goes around comes around. -

They are waiting for next week's oily encounter. -

That's sort of my point...some will say it was a great meeting, when it was average, cos they are used to watching mainly rubbish on other tracks. -

The thing with the showground is the racing a lot of the time can be so good it makes an average meeting there look poor, when at other tracks that average meeting would be classed as a really good one. On its day the showground really can be one of ties world's best tracks. -

Wasn't there so don't know, but normally Nico does most of his work from the back, did he make lots of good start's today? -

Wow how wrong were some if not most of us? Well done witches, and praise to Heeps who it seems made a meeting drawing contribution. -

As you said ..heeps has been disappointing this season, .and i don't see that changing today, even though it is on what could be classed as his best track. -

Ipswich to get nothing from this apart from a sore rear end. Can see Harvey getting lapped. Hope it's not too embarrassing for witches fans that go. -
I wasn't there so can't comment on it..but some people class good racing as riders being close all race and some would say that's rubbish as riders can't pass. As long as the majority think it's good and turn up the week after then happy days. I personally try not to visit some tracks , because I don't like what I see, but will travel the other end of the country to what I think is good. We all see and want different things.

Let's hope the meeting has more interest than this thread.
