Well done Danny and Rohan.

I much prefer the previous points system that meant you dropped points for being poor at home.

The words best interest of the sport are often used in some dodgy signings. But in this case it really would have been in the best interests of the sport to let this signing take place.

Berwick V Peterborough (on Sky) Wed, July 8th
Baldyman replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I was just wondering. Are there any premier teams that haven't been on sky yet? -
But he does have an average for this season and it's under six. That's rule says only if an average from last season
-
I'm not sure where we will finish, but Chris Louis says we can still finish top 3. And since he has forgotten more about speedway than most of us will ever know, I'm gonna imagine we will finish top 3

That helps our play off hopes no end.

Greenwood couldn't have done any worse. How does Konopka keep getting team places and how the hell does he afford to live. He obviously doesnt get paid per point -
Didn't he miss out of the gp by a point or something last year?
-
Rr will cover it okay.

Congratulations nico on reaching gp challenge by winning the semi only dropping one point. Beating many elite riders and current gp riders.
-
I think most of that has been down to the home track prep being so inconsistent.
-
He was definitely at Peterborough lol

I know it means nothing but earlier in the season we beat them 57- 33. They did lose Newman in his first race but we also lost gino. That's one of the problems though. Potential is just that, potential. Every season so far, someone or a couple haven't lived up to their potential. Same again this season. Let's hope that's now about to change cos on paper we do have one of the best looking teams.

Those type of injuries often look okay when on own. But during a proper race when you may have to lock up quickly or jar it is when you know it's healed properly or not. Next week's opposition isn't that great so it gives cam and ash a meeting to get into it. Although ash has been racing often enough.

Was he okay?

I know I come across as anti tungate. But most of it is because I know he can do so much better. It's hard driving 7 hours and costing lots of money to watch riders under perform. I'm sure he is a great lad really and maybe I sometimes go over the top. I just would like to see him sometimes give it that little bit more. I'm rohan if you read this I apologise for my harsh criticism sometimes.

Chris is right. Not one of those riders has improved really and one has gone backwards a fair bit and the team was built on all of them improving. The fact that nico has done as good as he has has taken the spotlight of those riders performances being a bit below par. Now with a fresh start and a few things in the open I think they may just perform a bit better. Cam needs to get into his stride pretty quickly though if we are now going to make an push for the tittle. Maybe his point is showing some of us what Chris said?

Chris is still positive that we can finish top 3 and go on and win the league. I'm hoping he is right. Whatever happens they are a damn sight better than our current position in the league. I'm going to be totally positive and say I think Chris is right. Up the witches.
