  1. Now call me cynical, but from the clubs point of view, there is no financial advantage if we finished first or sixth. So having few riders underperform now and then can only be good for the club profit surely? If keep beating teams home and away, that must cost the club far more money. And if it's your higher paid riders having off days, then surely that's even better.
  2. In that case I'm hoping it was female and preferably under 50
  3. With our consistency though, it's not like match after match, it's win a few and look good on the trot, the for no reason, look woeful and lose a few on the trot. So let's look on the bright side, the next few should be good, and with only one away meeting in the next 4 I think it is, all should look roses again. Just goes to prove, nothing is won on paper.
  4. Riders like morten and Hawkins and Louis should have plenty of experience to know what changes need to made as the meeting goes on.
  5. Well I would have been happy with a point before knowing the result, but we really must stop throwing away leads like that, so many times do we grab a defeat from the jaws of victory. Good job Our demise didn't start one race earlier or we would have had nothing. So i guess a point is better than nothing. Come on Louis, try to keep the lads fired up near the end of a meeting
  6. Like all other witches fans, I could easily see a win here, or another battering, much like last season's visits to dp, one hammering and one win How did we go at Glasgow last season?
  7. Tough one this with a patched up Workington side, we can win there as we proved last season, but we can also be on the end of some major drubbings. Although it's impossible to predict, I would like to think that we may get a point.
  8. It's strange that you mention about a grippy track and Ipswich not liking it. The other week Ipswich prepared a really grippy track and we loved it and Somerset didn't, and Somerset often prepare their own track grippy and opposing teams don't like it. It must be that teams only like their own track grippy but not away tracks. When the scorpions were at our place this season, they were pretty useless on our track to.
  9. Oh right, but I did post something on here earlier today Oh right, but I did post something on here earlier today
  10. I only mentioned about morten risager current form and that's been deleted also. Now that's not on really.
  11. Ulrich scored 15 on his last visit apparently. This is another test on morten new found racing ability. Morten has averaged less than 3 on his visits so far, but the way he is riding this season, hoping for another double figure score.
  12. They can, but they have to take out an ACU licence, which I guess most polish riders are not prepared to do
  13. Not unless they have moved the town of Leszno, where he was born, into Russia
  14. Poles can't race in the prem? Best you tell Redcar and rafal konopka that.
  15. I was thinking of a point at each, we are much better than we were not so long ago. Maybe just maybe we might get 7.?
  16. Yeah thanks for that, I could be bothered to look at our fixture list, but did in the end.
  17. So we have 3 away fixtures on consecutive nights. Scunthorpe Workington and Glasgow, how do you think we will get on? Only one away fixture next month, so we can at least rack up some points at home.
  18. Certainly didn't expect to win by 40, or do so well last night against a full Somerset team that have been thrashing other teams at home, including us not so long ago.
  19. All tongue in cheek, as you just never know with speedway
  20. Morten loves Plymouth, final here we come. And to think after a poor start to the season things are starting to look very good indeed.
  21. Nor do I, I am expecting a 30 point loss, but that's good enough.
