Now call me cynical, but from the clubs point of view, there is no financial advantage if we finished first or sixth. So having few riders underperform now and then can only be good for the club profit surely? If keep beating teams home and away, that must cost the club far more money. And if it's your higher paid riders having off days, then surely that's even better.

With our consistency though, it's not like match after match, it's win a few and look good on the trot, the for no reason, look woeful and lose a few on the trot. So let's look on the bright side, the next few should be good, and with only one away meeting in the next 4 I think it is, all should look roses again. Just goes to prove, nothing is won on paper.

Riders like morten and Hawkins and Louis should have plenty of experience to know what changes need to made as the meeting goes on.

Tough one this with a patched up Workington side, we can win there as we proved last season, but we can also be on the end of some major drubbings. Although it's impossible to predict, I would like to think that we may get a point.

It's strange that you mention about a grippy track and Ipswich not liking it. The other week Ipswich prepared a really grippy track and we loved it and Somerset didn't, and Somerset often prepare their own track grippy and opposing teams don't like it. It must be that teams only like their own track grippy but not away tracks. When the scorpions were at our place this season, they were pretty useless on our track to.

Ulrich scored 15 on his last visit apparently. This is another test on morten new found racing ability. Morten has averaged less than 3 on his visits so far, but the way he is riding this season, hoping for another double figure score.

So we have 3 away fixtures on consecutive nights. Scunthorpe Workington and Glasgow, how do you think we will get on? Only one away fixture next month, so we can at least rack up some points at home.

Certainly didn't expect to win by 40, or do so well last night against a full Somerset team that have been thrashing other teams at home, including us not so long ago.
