  1. But Dave a rider has put out a come and get me plea, we need a rider to really give this season a good go, and he fits perfectly, and is better than the rider he would be replacing. A team that is winning always attracts better crowds, so even if he would cost a little more than jari, I would imagine it would pay for itself. Or offer What jari is getting and let's see how much Justin really wants a team place.
  2. His signing probably really only came down to money. I dare say some of our riders don't come cheap, but he probably does and his average fitted. If Louis serious about winning anything then the change will be made, if not then that answers the question.
  3. Depends if you actually want to win anything or not, we are normally very slow at replacing riders and Louis want to lose face after stating the potential jari has. Clearly the lad probably does have potential, but it's not at speedway at this level.
  4. Come on Louis do the right thing and drop Jari, you know it makes sense
  5. I know he rode there Dave, but didn't he come off 3 times in not very good conditions.
  6. Well Rye won there so why can't we. Risager normally scores pretty well here and Ben obviously knows the fastest way round, not sure it will be to Adams liking but he is learning fast so you never know. Will we win or will it be back to earth with a big bump. Can Jari continue his scintillating form and score another point? Who knows.
  7. Let's not get too over excited about 1 meeting, but on a positive note, get shot of jari and replace him with someone that can score 4 to 6 points a meeting and we do have a very solid team that could reach play offs.
  8. Must admit I was wrong but not about Jari. He was practicing on his own after meeting and still looked very very slow. Doyle is awesome round our track, I wonder if he became our numbers 1 that we could somehow ruin him too. The rebels riders certainly had troubles staying on their bikes, well some did anyway. Happy to win but a strange meeting early on with 5 1 for fun.
  9. That's very true, and if we do win tonight I shall be a very pleasant bonus.
  10. Could be a big away win, but I just have that feeling that tonight Jari is gonna show what Louis saw in him, although it was Jari that phoned Ipswich for a job, and Morten is gonna be that number1 race jacket chasing rider that Louis says he is capable of. Then I woke up and had breakfast.
  11. It's a bit silly to say he was waiting on a call from ipswich then if he clearly wasn't.
  12. What I don't ever understand is why the majority of none wearing rose tinted glasses fans can tell that the team isn't exactly great, those that put it together think some of the riders are good enough, when we clearly knew they are not. Where some teams like Somerset always seem to somehow put together some very good teams year after year.
  13. Changes? Seriously? This is Ipswich lol. Yes changes will be made, but as always too late when no chance of winning anything. Having said all that let's not forget that Somerset have a very good team and look good again like the last few seasons, title contenders.
  14. Are there updates for this meeting, if so could someone please post the link, thank you.
  15. To be honest I don't think we will get a point, I was just trying to be positive. We know it's a racers track that Morten will score very few on and jari will probably score very few on if any, but as you know you can't say anything that you really think without people jumping on your posts.
  16. This early in the season and without the rebels new riders having settled in and found the best set ups, I think could be a good time to visit Somerset. Cam has started well and I see no reason why that shouldn't carry and track will suit Adam far better than Rye would have. Can Leighs fitness last 4 laps as again at Rye was slowing after a couple of laps. A racers track so should suit Ben and ya never know, maybe Morten may get his back wheel in it. Even with jari not on the pace yet we may just scrape a point. Though I would try and be positive.
  17. I know it's only first meeting, but that was pretty poor, all the riders I expected to poor were, that's all I'm going to say until I see what happens Monday
  18. They haven't used total loss engines for for over 20 years, and there is nothing stopping anyone maybe adding a binding agent maybe a little oil if the track drainage goes into underground tanks. I think its also different shale used these days or a different mix. Shale isn't cheap these days. I think Scunthorpe use a different Shale to most.
  19. They can obviously afford to have people not turn up, like you I looked on website and it only mentioned advanced tickets, I also phoned the number but no answer on that either. I wasn't going to drive 140 miles there to find I could not get in. IT'S a bit silly advertising on here if its not going to checked or updated.
  20. No answer to this , oh well that was 8 of us that won't be going now, shame really.
