Glad I wont be anywhere near and air horn free zone............ I sat ground level last year, nowhere near as good as the 2nd tier....atmosphere was very hmmmmm shall we say quiet (even with me in there!!!) Did chuckle though the woman in front had a banner for Scott Nicholls as soon as he was out she turned the banner round to read another name!! hmmmmm nothing like covering all pockets is there lol -
See at least some fans don't forget WD Ian2 Honey I can't remember you being there that year. There really wasn't that many that night it was just a dinner and some films for the supporters club members and a handful of riders I think. Might be wrong think I was drunk that night

Sorry Kev not Bridge Country Club, so you wasn't there either? 8) Oh and I too have been in the "Big Bath" @ Canterbury Before anyone else had been in there I might add
-
Excellent Paul loads of memories there.........Snowy love his heart with the "Weekly Fiddle" lmao, Magnificent Seven theme tune....This is my mobile tune. Hackney was a part of most people in the South and what lucky people we were to have shared the "Friday at Eight" Experience.

Blimey that's late this year........ I had mine ordered by September last year and delivered by Christmas -
Not at all, didn't really expect you to reply so quickly but guessed that most people would think of Hersden as it was held there for some years, the final was held somewhere completely different but where was it? anyone who at the time had any interest in Speedway in Kent should have been there.
-
Sorry Honey ........ thought someone would think of the place @ Hersden. You couldn't have been at the final Canterbury Speedway Dinner then could you?? The one you have mentioned was the year that Canterbury was sold down the river for a dog track........ that would be 1987 :!:
-
This is the time of year when I feel totally left out of speedway, all the fans are chatting about their end of season escapades and their Dinner/Dances. A lot of Canterbury fans have found other tracks to follow Dick & Les they are Edinburgh, Kev H he's gone to Oxford, Steve Hone well he's has about 4 to choose from where he is! and me so rumour has it has gone to Eastbourne (yeah right!) A bit of trivia for you Canterbury Fans : Our last Dinner where was it held?
-
 I've just typed a load for here then I timed out and the bloody thing has disappeared  there must be something that can be done about this :?:
