  1. lmao JJ a classic there from you m8 (sorry sick sense of humour, him indoors is a ginger and we call him the ginger sap!)
  2. They did this @ Canterbury too and also a uni-cycle rode by the Late Graham Banks if I remember rightly or might even have been his brother Trevor.
  3. mine too but Mark really is my hero and I back him 100% but ....... Scott is a diamond and with riding on Lucky no 7 next season is his I can feel it, wonder if I can get good odds for it now  Worth putting some money on now :!:
  4. Sorry to put a dampner on it but... 1992 Gary Havelock 2000 Mark Loram 2004 Scott Nicholls :?: can't see the pattern : All leap years ............. gotta be ours!
  5. I always have the same thought Lioness but............. Although Honey says maybe the last one should be a permanent track, I can't help but think, that maybe if the last meeting was in Cardiff what a buzz it would be, winning the "Cardiff Crown" is just like winning the GP series to a lot of the riders, yet win the World Title in front of 45000+ fans the roof would almost certainly be lifted off! Bring the final round to Cardiff that's what I say!!!!!!
  6. I was just saying I do it....... because I can. In other words no one else has a good enough excuse to do so
  7. Both of them.. so chances are we have met then if you know them. Lynn has posted on here a couple of times & Wendy I see every now and then her parents still live just along the road from my parents. I'm always slating Honey for his riding mainly because I can and I can get away with it most of the time :!: oh and no I don't have balls :? but have been on a bike..........several times Before any of you start on about the forum fun day...........forget it :!: :!:
  8. lmao Welcome aboard Keith you certainly have made a good impression. Until I stumbled across this thread I was beginning to wonder why you had started so many threads on the same sort of topic. Hmmmmmm obviously you haven't had the experience of not being able to get onto our beloved forum because the bandwidth has been exceeded, then maybe you will appreciate how precious this space is, if it's all about the same thing best posting in one thread. Just a friendly tip At the top of this page next to "View posts since last visit" there is a "Make a Donation" thread have a little look there and maybe make a contribution to the running of the forum, this all comes out of Phils' pocket so it's only right that we should all give him a little something back and I don't just mean by smart comments
  9. Well Nikki certainly put a spoke in the wheel of our poll didn't he lol oh well always next year!
  10. breaks my heart to say it..... Congrats Nik P. There ya go short and sweet! So sweet almost got a toothache typing it Seriously all Congratulations to Nikki P
  11. How right you are, I was one who wanted Jason Crump to win can't be because I'm a fan of his because usually I'm not, I just hoped that it was going to be his year this year and that he deserved it. Unfortunately lady luck was (by the sounds of it, not seen the meeting yet!) not on his side. Congratulations to Nikki P the best rider on the night won. Make the most of it, there will be plenty after the title next year
  12. Canterbury fans don't believe her it's not true There's no proof! It's all in her head :!: tell 'em lugz........ tell 'em please :? Don't know where the rumour started
  13. This is really going against personal opinion but I'm backing Crump for this one, he is the one that really wants this and on his current form and determination he derserves it. Plus Sullyrox & Addy will be on cloud nine
  14. - Well done Steve !! Bird thinks Honey is older than he says or his dad is helping him
  15. You forget Honey, Sheeeeeeeeep is now the proud owner of a Mod Hat, so he sees what has been deleted and edited If I ask Mrs Sheeeeeeeeep very nicely she may look over his shoulder (without the Sheeeeeeep realising of course  ) and have a peek at what you wrote and edited  Be afraid, be very afraid Honey
  16. So what one word WOULD you use to describe her Honey? er..... Nothing like playing safe there Honey. (no where have I put the "Wimp" smilie :?: )
  17. lol @ Norbold, I was beginning to think that TTF wanted Nicki P to win. Although she hasn't mentioned it for a while
  18. God am I really that predictable here ya go Brick have a look at this thread http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forum/view...opic.php?t=1868 should answer your question.
  19. Never mind my m8s call the gates "traps". There is no educating some people is there
  20. Are you a newbie to our beloved sport Brick? It's not quite Formula 1 but to us it's more exciting and you can see the whole of the track and know who's leading all the time without phoning a friend to find out the result who's watching it on tv., back home
  21. Sorry "Oh no etc" be really surprised if John Poshbloke lets an American in after pulling out the World Cup. Mark Loram and Lee Richardson are my hopes for the Wild Cards
  22. Dekks, come on your not really that slow are you Something was written about a rider a couple of threads ago and the rider read what had been said about him and he really took to heart the false comments that had been written about him. No it wasn't me (this time ) but it was commented that I had replied to the thread in question. All I'm saying is be careful what you say, riders are for two hours "our heroes" for the rest of the time they are there own person and can do anything they want to do, like the rest of us !!!!
  23. Sorry mbbunyan, I can't remember Rye House being one of our arch enemies, I always thought it was just Eastbourne...........who are they? Maybe Unc. Riding for Rye House made me blind of this 8)
  24. Heard a rumour Lee Richardson, do they take bets on this sort of thing???
  25. This is not your dating thread! Not been warned about hi-jacking yet? Last years pair were
