For some unknown reason we took a detour from Coventry to avoid traffic works and ended up going round to have a look at the Hackney area, unfortunately I was too busy looking out the window left (with tears in my eyes I might add!) over onto the Waterden Road site and totally missed the Lesney factory on the other side of the bridge.

Welcome aboard Shaleway69, Auntie Rose the tealady can be found at Arena Essex and most grasstrack meetings (So yep still involved) Kathy also see her quite a bit at grasstrack meetings, Snowy awwww love him last I saw him was at the Hackney re-union at Paradise Park a few years ago he hasn't changed in all the years although like you say unfortunately now is in a nursing home (not sure if the details for him are on here already or not but I have them written down somewhere if you can't find it)

My memories of Wimbledon are the NLRC each time Uncle Ted rode, was so proud when he came round in one of the cars with the Gauloise bunny girls, shouting Uncle Ted across the dog track and him saying hiya Shazz as I was waving like mad. The girl next to me saying is that really your Uncle and me all proud saying yeah. God I miss them days might not ever have been World Champion status but he was and still is to me

  20. Kevvie for years I've watched you do this with details can I ask what you do with it all? is it for a pc programme or a website or something. Over the years you've gathered quite a bit of information, just wondered if you'd put it all together somewhere
